Hi there,
I got all nostalgic the last couple of days; I've been a fanboy of bioware since NWN came out. I thought about how amazing the implementation of the toolset was in its time (and still is), and wanted to install my old NWN and see what mods I could check out again!
However, I now realize I can't find my discs....they may be somewhere...but I dunno.
I also noticed the Forums are WAY different. It used to be like....a place where everyone could see my registered producsts and such...
So I'm wondering- is there something I can do? My old name was Ryguy786 and I even used the same e-mail as I made for this account. But now I don't have any registered products to my name >.<
Old Neverwinter nights account...?

Same here, I had all my CD keys registered on the site and now it is all gone, I want to play again but it would seem the manuals are missing as I had the keys saved on the website. Anyway to get it back?

So far, no, and apparently we've been left hanging on for over a month.

Have you tried checked the NWN Discussion Forums? Took me about a minute to find Guide to Installing NWN1 for Win7 including patch links over in the NwN 1 Technical Support (Self help for all versions and expansions) subforum!Pacific Dragon wrote...

Have you all read about bioware nwn community site being hacked? I was curious why the change and no carry over of my account too, so looked it up. Found this on geek.com:

I know this is an old thread. But I'm having similar problems, is there some way I can check if my old account still works online? If its still legit, without having to install the games. My old username was Lord Landhow and I got both NWN and NWN2 with all the expansions to both of them.

If you go to the NWN forums on this site, the top thread in the general discussion forum is thread created by Christ Priestly about a month ago .e.g around sept. 1st 2011. He says in this thread that people now can play the persistents world they've created as well as get the games authorized or activated. (via the nwn cdkey and the expansions cdkeys) Thread is here: http://social.biowar...9/index/8398695
In it he says that people now can a) authorize content fron nwn and
play their persistens worlds and the content in them. He also says that Bioware and Atari and others are looking into getting our access to the old legacy forums back. And that this might take a while to get the old legacy forums back, and that Bioware, Atari and others are working on it.
As for the username, I don't think it is necessary anymore, since you can play without the disc in the drive (if updating the game to 1.69 via the patch system, you'll need to manually patch though, since the auto-patcher is sort of --ehm-- not working due to the old legacy forums being hacked).
As for NWN2, please remember that Obsidian made this and its expansions so the activation servers might be Obsidian's or maybe even Atari's?.
As for our old accounts, I do think that the old accounts from the (old)legacy forums are now gone. We got transferred over here about a year ago, iirc. Back then, you could either create a new account a link your old account to this (new) bioware social account.

@ Rebellion:
You could try contacting Atari as they have helped people in your situation before.
And yes, for the moment, at least you're what you called 'screwed'. At least untill the legacy forums get back up. I would like to be able to register my old Bioware games on this new social bioware site as well.
Or you can go to GOG
http://www.gog.com/e...diamond_edition
and buy the diamond edition for US dollars 9.99....
