Are you guys working to make more of the Environment affected by guns/abilities?
We did some tests earlier on with destruction pieces, but couldn't really get the performance within spec... so not really (sadly).
I will say though, that it was pretty cool to be able to throw a guy into a pillar and see him leave a crack in the wall... and see the pieces collapse and fall on top of his body. Or to be able to use a singularity under a scaffolding that guys were running across and see it get torn apart along with the enemies... lots of fun... but too costly.

Haven't you guys been attempting to do this since the first game? I remember seeing in an old trailer (3.27 mark in the trailer) for the original where parts of the environment were effected like what you just mentioned. It is sad that we can't see that happening. Just got me thinking how fun it would be to revisit a scenario akin to the MSV Estevanico in which we have to manipulate our surroundings to get through to the end of the mission.

Question.
Is galaxy at war?
I don't think so. I didn't care about grenades.MarchWaltz wrote...
Do each of the classes have a class unique grenade?

I have a couple questions. How is the button mapping? Did any buttons change from ME2? if so which ones? Can you still map abilities to LB, RB, and Y? I doubt it cause the grenade button has to go somewhere. Same as ME2
Speaking of grenades how do they work specifically? Do you just aim where you want it and Shepard automatically throws it there? Or is it like other shooters where you have to aim higher the farther you want the grenade to go? How powerful are they? Wasn't interested in using them so I didn't try them out, I don't even remember seeing them to be honest.
Did they change anyway that ammo powers work? Do they still carry over into cutscenes when the weapon is folded up? (that used to annoy the hell outta me) and they same goes for abilities like fortification, that effect you visually, does that carry into cutscenes? I don't think they carry over to cutscenes. They work the same as ME2.
Those are just off the top of my head I'm sure I'll think of more. Thanks
Are there any cutscenes or fire fights you saw in the demo that we didn't see already in videos? It was all on Sur'kesh saving the Krogan princess.

Are grenades used as "powers" for the soldier? More than likely, as I've said, I didn't care enough to try them out. I don't need grenades in my Mass Effect 3.
Are Pull and Shockwave now viable? Yes on both.
What difficulty was the demo set on? I don't know, you didn't get to choose, but it was probably on casual. Why in the hell do you care about that anyway?
Did you try any of the Stealth kills? If Yes, How effective were they? No I'm guessing that's infiltrator abilities and that class wasn't in the demo.
How often did you use the class melee attacks? How often did you hit? How often did you have hitbox issues (hitting an enemy without the actual melee touching them)I used melee a lot actually, it was my favorite part about the demo. And yes you could miss. I missed a lot because I wasn't used to the range, but that's my fault and not the game's.
By the Way, the default pistol in ME2 is the Predator. In case that is the one you used for the demo. That's what it was, couldn't remember to save my life.
Sadly you couldn't customize anything in the demo. :<AdmiralCheez wrote...

A ME FPS using the Frostbite 2.0 engine. I bet that would really ****** people off.Anyway, thanks for this topic. I might finally get this answered. When Jesse was on the power evolution screen for the Sentinel, I saw "Invulnerability" listed. What is that? Why were some upgrades to a power blacked out even though Jesse had the points for it? It also looked like Tech Armor hurts Shep a little when it overloads. Did anyone else notice, or am I losing it?
Yeah, all the non-Mass Effect fans.JetsoverEverything wrote...
