Oh, goddie. More reasons to blow that ugly thing up.

Very. The fights seem to be more fast-paced. The enemies were definitely a lot smarter, but a well placed singularity will make their intelligence null-and-void. lolCandidate 88766 wrote...
the most important question: is it fun to play?

The story is the main thing that matters, but the game also has to be fun to play....

I think you have that a little backwards. The game should be fun to play first, and then worry about the story. Otherwise if the game is frustrating to play and not any fun you won't be able to enjoy the story anyway.

If the gameplay is very good, but the story is a bit lackluster, then it will be a very disappointing ME3
If the story is very good, but the gameplay is a bit lackluster, then I'd still be happy with ME3
Fair point. I'd say they have to be fairly equal, but for me a game as story-focused as ME I'd still say the story must come first. I didn't find ME1 particularly fun to play - too many glitches, poor AI, badly implemented inventory - but I enjoyed the story so much that it is still one of my favourite games. The gameplay wasn't bad, but at times it was highly frustrating. The story, characters and setting more than made up for it though.Saphra Deden wrote...

Ok I'm back from today's events with some more knowledge under my belt. I remember someone asking about Fortitude. This ability wasn't class specific, as it was on the Adept as well. All it did was basically beef you up in terms of survivability. Also Garrus' proximity mine isn't thrown or placed, it's shot to the location of your chosing.
Yeah Liara had one of those, I really wasn't sure how to use it though. The number was always 0 and pressing it didn't do much. I read the description multiple times and it didn't say anything about how to use it.-Skorpious- wrote...

Ooh, you remembered both of my questions!
Anyways, I noticed that some abilities are highlighted in red and have a number value placed on them. I assume these are the grenades, but a confirmation is always welcome.
No, it was a 10 minute demo. It'd be pointless and if there was I didn't notice it. It'll most definitely be in the main game, but no need for it in the demo.AssassinsReign wrote...
Do you get xp during your fights? Does it show that?
So I'm guessing it's like unity or heavy weapon ammo. Does that mean each squaddie can have a super powerful power.Soahfreako wrote...

Crab Cat/Mad Masker did a great job on Rana (AKA Samara)
I have no clue what it was like. It never did anything.pablodurando wrote...

There's arrows that now pop up to tell you where you will go when you push the left thumbstick in a direction. Rolling is useful to get out of the way of incoming fire that could potentially kill you.xXljoshlXx wrote...
Does the cover system feel any different or is just like ME2?
Edit: Rolls are they of any use?
No I'm not, they've announced all that they had planned on announcing. I've played the demos multiple times and am satisfied enough to make the wait a little more bearable.Vertigo_1 wrote...
Do you know if they have anything planned for tomorrow? Also are you going again tomorrow?

Soahfreako, could you give your impressions on Enemy Layout, Music, Verticality in levels, Level Design, Weapon animations such as reloading. Enemy and squad ambient banter, maybe expound upon Weapon Audio improvements, how and why they're so much better than ME2,
Thanks
