Might as well talk about the Adepts class skill. God my memory is terrible right now, I think it was called Overpower. Anyway, it basically allowed me to throw down biotic abilities like nobodies business. It didn't take away the cool downs but they were at least halved. But you could evolve the ability so that the first ability used won't start a global cooldown. so that's pretty awesome.

I have a question for this....Is their any thing that stops the player from over using this buffer?

As of yet, no.

So people can spam it over and over again.....How is it's cooldown rate?

What class did you play Soah? (crosses finger for vanguard, engineer, or infiltrator)

#5, Enemies DO have shields! and yes I almost died once or twice, the red veins are GONE, replaced by more of a red MIST with 'drops' of blood as you slowly bleed out.

This. I loved this too.

Once the effect is over it puts you on a lengthy cooldown but nothing too huge.

Glad you had a good time!

That would be awesome! Singularity grabbing a block of wall and slamming it into a victims head! Insta-kill.

I'm guessing you don't have the detals on the amount of seconds of the cooldown?

How's Shockwave?

Does any of the biotic power evolutions allow you to bypass enemy shields/armor/barrier?

I do not. I wasn't intentionally counting down.

They have to make block cover like ME1 to do that...I just want to lift things and throw it at people like with the gravity gun.

Guys, please watch your Quote Pyramids. I know it's a pain sometimes to edit quotes when you're participating in many threads, but please make an effort.

I didn't evolve shockwave all the way, but shockwave was a lot more fun to use than in ME2.  It seemed to have more power behind it, it looked like a force that you REALLY didn't want to be in front of.

We did some tests earlier on with destruction pieces, but couldn't really get the performance within spec... so not really (sadly).

I will say though, that it was pretty cool to be able to throw a guy into a pillar and see him leave a crack in the wall... and see the pieces collapse and fall on top of his body. Or to be able to use a singularity under a scaffolding that guys were running across and see it get torn apart along with the enemies... lots of fun... but too costly. :pinched:

Yes and if the armor drains and explodes, if you're not on cooldown you can throw it right back up. :P You can evolve the explosion to do more damage and have a bigger radius I believe.

Hey Brenon are the other classes still being worked on for demo purposes?
Will we get a chance to see (or try them out) in the coming conventions (Gamescon, PAX)?

I figured. :wizard: Thanks so much for responding. I hope in the future, there are more ways to have the environment feel like real tangible objects. :)

Damnit :crying: Blasted old consoles limiting cool stuff like that... as a PC gamer I can't wait for the next console generation for the simple fact it means devs can finally start adding features like this... getting frustrated that games are constrained by such old tech... cus it's affecting PC games ... there's so few games that can make a semi decent gaming rig even come close to sweating these days.

I suppose the likelihood of adding that feature to the PC version for higher end rigs is 0% ?

Any more questions? I'm exhausted and my bed is calling to me with such an alluring call. It says "Come Soah. Come sleep, that headache you have right now will fly away if you just lay right here." I won't be able to resist much longer. :P

Lol, now you're making me crave that in the game. :P A shame it won't work out. I'm guessing this is due to the size of the environments, or the density of static meshes? I've seen environments in UT3, if I'm not mistaken, with fracture capabilities. Performance didn't look too bad, but I'm guessing they must have ran it on a high end pc?

I guess for the time being I'll have to just dream of using biotics in a destructible environment. :D
