Hello Bioware.
I've been getting emails from this forum in other languages than english, first in something resembling german and then another resembling russian?
It seems they are similar to the usual email notifications I get in english when someone has replied to a topic I have subscribed to in here.
Can anyone shed light on this?

Yes, it's a known bug. The emails are being sent in the language of the person who caused the update. For example your first message is in German and is notifying you that someone replied to a subscribed topic. The person who replied to that subscribed topic has their language set as German.
