Then Harbinger possesses TIM and he jumps around like a frog while you shoot at him.

TIM will jump into a gigantic 3 headed mech dog built by the reapers (lol). Shepard must fight his way through legions of Cerberus soldiers and husks to get to TIM and when he gets close enough he must omni-blade attack the mech to damage it. This prompts the gigantic three headed dog mech to jump to another part of the level and Shepard must rinse and repeat the omni-blade attack until TIM's mech has been hit 3 times (magic number in game boss fights) which will bring it down.
Then Harbinger possesses TIM and he jumps around like a frog while you shoot at him.
And then in his final form TIM will mutate and grow wings (for some reason) and we'll be taken to the middle of dark space for the fight.

We'll have to take control of a reaper and shoot him down.

The way I pictured the end was Shepard personally boarding Reapers to take down their Mass Effect cores (like with the Derelict Reaper), while the battle rages outside.
Just my imagination, though.
I like it.

I'm hoping for a big, climactic battle inside Harbinger, with numerous Reaperized aliens attacking us in a never ending onslaught, with a totally evil-looking, tricked out monster of a team mate who has been Reaperized, or even of the Illusive Man. The tech/cyber zombie version of our best good friend Garrus or Anderson or, hell, the VS or even Jenkins. I want an example of what we, as life, would become if the Reapers are successful, breathing down my neck while I, and ally and LI "hold the line" as the timer ticks down for our last ditch effort to succeed.
To a point, this is what happened in ME1, and I loved the Reaperized Saren battle. It fit the canon enough to me to be acceptable as a boss battle.
This is the best one I've heard. If Garrus is reaperized tho I will never forgive Bioware. They can't kill my brother in arms and all around space Bro!! There is no Mass Effect with out Garrus for me

Instant critical mission failure. Shepard discovers that God is behind The Reapers and goes to confront him using the ultimate upgraded Mass Relay at the center of The Milky Way which transports him/her to beyond The Universe. There you meet God who is mashing buttons on a controller while laughing. You then realize that this "God" is actually you - The Player - and you then proceed to kill yourself ending the game and your life.

It will be Saxton Hale and the only way for Humans to win is to resurrect the god, Chuck Norris and His squad-mates Charlie Sheen and Bruce Lee.

No final boss, a gigantic large scale battle that's essentially one large suicide mission through various scenes and such would be better (imo). I'm not a big fan of somebody being "the" boss when there's an entire galactic war, it removes from the conflict.
To some extent I can see them doing what you said but also adding "the" boss in as well... not really wanting to draw 'the' comparison oft associated with ME trilogy...
RotJ ending
Luke (Shepard) duelling with Vader (sub-boss?) with Emperor (boss) watching
Han, Leia, Chewie, the droids (some squaddies) and some Rebels fighting on the moon of Endor
Lando, Nien Numb, Wedge (other squaddies) and some Rebels fighting Imperial Fleet in space between the Death Star and the Moon of Endor
Course, the interesting thing here is... the 'boss' characters aren't exactly instrumental in the victory. Whether they'd so something like that in Shepard's case is doubtful I think.

I agree, but unfortunately Bioware has different tastes. I wouldn't be surprised if it was TIM possessed by Harbinger, and the only way to win is by having a maxed out Paragon meter.

Anything has to be better than the end boss of ME2!
I'm laughing out loud because it's so true. Now I'm crying, for the same reason.

Even back in the 90's it was already cliché.

I facepalmed it so hard at the end of ME2 i had to restart the boss fight.

Actually, it would be pretty damn good, if you fought all your dead-but-huskified squaddies. It would also fit BioWares standards to fight your own squad (it was done before), but it's not the material for a boss fight, unless it's Garrus-husk.
EDIT: Though I admit, that the fetus-like Reaper larva from the artbook was a 'little' better concept
