if we're fighting a reaper...would it be too much to ask for something like ME1? only on a more grand scale. shepard kills the avatar, thus weakening the reaper to be assaulted. shepard could have to fight multiple "avatars" at once to get the win so the fleets can do some damage. i don't see the reapers being defeated, but rather sent back in dwindling numbers to try another day.

I hope it goes like this "Shepard we've defeated the reaper's we've won the war" Shepard replies "Not yet there is still 1 more loose end" after a month or year or whatever shepard tracks down TIM. TIM " Are shepard i was wondering when you'd fine" Shepard " It's time to pay for your crimes" battle commences then when you defeat him you pull out a pistol and then TIM says " shepard would you really kill after all i have done for you I brought you back shepard dont you forget that" then shepard has the choice of killing him or sparing his life.

A fight... against indocrination. That takes place in Shepard's mind. Like the Overlord final boss, but much weirder and therefore much cooler.

I imagine the final boss will consist of AL Gore fighting Shepard because of improper detonation of the nuke in the Cerberus base. There must have been twelve thousand pyjacks destroyed with that explosion. Shame on you Shepard for killing worthless creatures. lol.

I sure hope not. The detsruction of the avatar somehow weakening the reaper is a dumb concept.

This is the problem i have with an end boss in ME3. Surely the crescendo of the story should be some kind of confrontation with the reapers. But you can't have a boss fight with a reaper where it actually works in terms of gameplay or it works in terms of the story. The boss battles in LotSB were good and if maybe they're could some quality boss fights with cerberus operatives but that shouldn't be the grand finale.

It would be amusing to have Shepard and TIM duke it out like the final fight of MGS4.

I would greatly want after the credits shepard in aria's bar or such getting into a fight with a new and improved niftu cal for lol's. I can only hope that it wouldn't be to hard to program in to the final package for the game.

Well, I think we just figured out the DeM: They'll pull Charlie Sheen out of stasis and offer him to the Reapers to get slushied.

Then the Reapers will be like "Unplug this ****!" but too late, and Sheen will Win with Winning!

Final Boss, is Illusive Man with reaper tech. His last resort. Or a just a conversation path to end him.

Basically somehow Shepard gets control of the reapers somehow, and the reapers leave Earth, enough time for Shepard to use a self destruct to eliminate them, saving the earth or die trying.

No, actually Fem Shepard has to sleep with the Harbringer, to save Earth.

the last boss for ME3 shouldn't really be a single character or thing like in ME1/2 but should be a mission like the SM but alot harder so that everything you learn about the reapers is put into use along with the allies you have gathered. This way you get to decide on how you use your forces similar to a RTS but have shepard give commands like on Virmire when you get to choose between setting off the alarms or not meaning that each choice will have a potential good or bad consequence. If ME3 is about all out war then its gotta convey that feeling of desperation and I think the last mission should do this

I have this sinking feeling that Bioware's trying to set up a final fight b/w Reaper-teched-out TIM and Commander Shepard.

I'd much rather it be something else, since I still don't wanna consider TIM an all-out enemy...

I'll really hate it if the final battle, the culmination of all you war efforts would be decided on a traditional boss fight. I would much rather be giving orders to the small personal fleet i gathered while playing the game, picking targets, assisting dreadnoughts, making whatever other choices i am presented with. But i also don't think Shepard should be giving orders to entire fleets like in me1.

I have no problem with boss fights, i like the good ones, but don't make one decide the all-out war for the galaxy. Have them as means of weakening the enemy. You can even have them during the final battle, but it shouldn't be something stupid like Saren being Sovereign's shield generator...

I don't want the battle deciding the fate of the galaxy to be reduced to 2 decisions, a few 30 sec or shorter cutscenes, some radio chatter and a boss fight. I want the final moments of the game to live up to the scale BioWare is promising.

Well, i can keep dreaming until march.

I think it would be pretty cool to have like a final battle instead of a singular boss. Organize all of your crew into different 2 man fireteams and you have to go back and forth between them leading them in their objectives or guarding their positions against waves of guys. Could even have one of them be like a vehicle combat portion.
Go crazy with it and have it be objective based fighting a reaper and hordes of guys so you have to pick which objectives you do in which or with which fireteams and you lead each of them. Make the order affect how the other groups are doing, like take out their airpad to destroy their air support or take out the reaper's core to get it to stop moving around so that the other ones are easier, etc.
