I have each and every upgrade for the Normandy SR-2 - all the important ones anyway which ensure the Normandy's survival passing through the Omega 4 Relay. Yet, whenever I speak with Joker, he says the Normandy still isn't ready. I have a "wtf" moment each time, double check the upgrades, return to the squadmates and request for upgrades even though they say they have done all they could.

Since the pilot doesn't seem to get the Normandy is peachy-keen, will this affect the Suicide Mission in any way? I'm trying to get a perfect playthrough before I screw everything up on purpose. And is there a way of fixing it?

I've never heard of this. Are you sure it's the upgrades and not the thing you got from the derelict reaper - which needs time rather than anything done by you?
If you haven't done all the missions try some more and see what happens

Pretty sure. I have not retrieved the Reaper IFF just yet. I am trying a few more missions to see if anything happens, though.

Okay, update: I spoke with Garrus and he says that the guns are not upgraded...but in my journal it says they are, and I am not getting the [UPGRADES] option from him.

Wtf?

EDIT: Even Jacob (after the attack on the Normandy) says the ship needs more upgrades. I don't get it. HELP.

You may have to go back to a previous save to fix the issue. It wouldn't hurt anything to try loading a previous save, and see if the problem persists.

Also there are a few third-party editors available that can edit your save game if you need to fix it (it's advisable to do this as a last resort though).

I've gone back to previous saves and it's done the same thing.

I have the Gibbed Editor actually, and I've looked for Normandy upgrades in it. I was actually wondering if removing Garrus, then bringing him back would trigger anything.
