I have used the spec point and did not recive the trophy for veteran. Is there a reason that this is bugged, What can i do to fix this. And if I start a new character will it unlock?

Assuming you did everything correctly then it sounds like you are having the same problem I am, I've been trying to get the same answer since day one...so far nothing, and I've E-mailed EA,asked on here,asked on sony's tech support, etc.
Noone seems to know anything, I know theres a similar issue with the 360 version as well with the DLC achievements so I hope that theres something being done about it.
Either way, if its bugged then making another character wont change anything, I've made 7 characters just to unlock the trophy thats bugged for me and nothing ever happens.

thanks Someone was trying to tell me delete your data. and I was thinking since your psn account saves trophys it most likly would not make a diffrence.

Actually Im thinking since the game is tied in to the ea servers that is the problem. On the site here it says i have the veteran trophy on my psn account no.

Yeah thats whats going on with me as well, the Bioware profile says I have the "Bloodied" trophy but on PSN I dont.
And belive me I have tried everything, I've tried starting over on a new console, I've erased all of my data, I've remade several characters to retry it, etc, since its tied to your profile there isnt anything you can do on your end.
It means that a patch is going to have to be made to solve the issue, I only hope that they do it eventually since its not the first game to have this happen lately.

I am experiencing the same issue but on the Ultimate version of Dragon Age Origins; the problem with trophies not unlocking for killing 100, 500 & 1000 darkspawn is caused by having the patch 1.01 installed. The fix that worked on my PS3 is to not install patch 1.01, not sign into EA servers and when I killed 100 darkspawn, the trophy unlocked and the trophies for killing 500 & 1000 will unlock when I reach those numbers.
