Why Cant I Play?

Hi i just installed dragonage origins ultimate and when ever i click the play button on the launcher the launcher closes and the game does not launch. I have tried to run it form the exe and the game does not launch. Any ideas of what to do. I have the steam verson of the game.

As it stands, you haven't posted enough information for me to do more than guess, but the most common cause for the problem is not running the game with administrator privileges. The updated service that authorizes your DLC requires administrator permissions. Blame Windows protecting you from yourself for that. Insufficient hardware and firewall/anti-virus/anti-malware software or router settings blocking access to the DragonAge servers can also cause that problem.
