I'm not surprised, but it's sad to see the loss of life, no matter who it is.

I never liked AW, but 27 is too early to die. Nobody deserves this!

Is anyone really surprised? The woman seemed to be off her head 24/7. I've never seen her make any sort of appearance where she didn't seem drunk or stoned. Its sad and all but not in the least bit surprising. The media will go nuts now making her out to be the best person ever despite villifying her for years. The George Best treatment.

It's terribly sad how such a talented young woman wasted away her entire life.

Well, that's what happens when you get addicted to drugs and alcohol...

I guess she should have said "yes, yes, yes" to rehab.

Sh*t happens when you live your life like that. Truly sad that it had to end like this...

And the music world loses another great artist, one of my top favorites... let's all get contented with Rebecca Black.

Maybe I'm just a bad person but I really don't feel too bad for these stars when they die due to copious amounts of drugs, money, and booze. You choose to life your life like that, you take the risk.

Well, her dead wasn't really surprising. When you take lot of drugs that tends to happen. Still, it is sad that she died. She was a talented singer.

I hope she'll rest in peace.

That sir, is being judgemental. It is looking down on others vices. It is rather cold hearted and can easily be interpreted as hypocrisy.

However, also happen to have a similar view of this matter.. if you don't wanna die young stop trying so hard to destroy yourself? It'd not like she didn't have people trying to help her...

Agreed, it shows a massive lack of understanding of addiction to simply blame people for getting addicted to things, becoming addicted to something is essentially just self-medicating.

I'm not saying I wouldn't fall prey to such things. Yet rather than moping about my death I would want people to say: "He died doing what he loved. Crashing his Camaro into a tree while doing a line of coke off of a Russian stripper's naked breasts."

Many facts in someone's life may inflict death. She could've been rich, have a nice voice, be famous, but that seemed not to be what she wanted. In several interviews she even spoke about her "thing" with drugs and how she was really addicted. Once addicted it is really, really hard to go back at your old self and it clearly seemed that she didn't have the will nor the strenght to do so.

On a side note... not everything that seems to be actually is. So we are really clueless here.

One of my favorite female singers. She had an amazing voice. She was a hot mess, too bad she didn’t have a chance to sober up and reach her full potential. I’ll miss her music.

While it is all well and good that this is bad,it is a sad reflection on humanity that this is getting more coverage than the Oslo attacks.

I was just thinking that, the BBC news flash thingy that they show on BBC3 came on before Family Guy anouncing that theres "only one piece of news" a drugged up alcholic singer is dead. No mention of all the deaths in Norway.

You're not surprised right? People love their pet celebrities.
