I have a PS3 and I'm playing DA II and I've been having a great time until NOW!  WHenever I strike someone my stamina bar goes down.  My companions health and stamina bars dont go all the way full when we finish a fight and I'm getting VERY frustated. I thought maybe it was a fix in the patches but I can't find ANYWHERE on here that says where the patches are for download.  I can't play the game because I keep dying when I'm out of stamina to the point I can't heal myself or do ANY speciality moves.   I signed up for the forum but it says requirements not met on EVERYTHING but this forum. Someone please help. I am passed pissed off and frustrated now, to the point I dont want to play anymore:(

If you are worried that you haven't gotten the latest patch, please follow the instructions below to clear out your PS3 cache to force the newest patch to download.

Sign into your PSN account and go to the Game Menu. From the Game Menu you should see Game Data Utility. In that menu, please find Dragon Age II and delete all information there (DLC can be redownloaded). Please note: Do NOT go to Saved Game Data as this contains your saved games and deletion of these items is irreversible.
Once you have cleared out your Game Data, please launch the game and you should be prompted to update the game. Accept the download and when it finishes installing, you will be properly patched to the latest version.

Thank you so very much!! I'll try that and hopefully it fixes my problem. I didn't see any post anywhere, where anyone else has had this problem.

Unfornately redownloading and installing the software didn't clear up my issue of my stamina disappearing when I do normal attacks, or my other companions missing some of their health or stamina. It looks fine when I'm just running around but it starts messing up the moment I go to a quest.

Do your characters have injuries? That could cause some of the health issues. The last patch took out injuries from traps I believe, but death in combat still causes it. NM has bleedout as well. If you go to your house those should clear up.

If you are losing stamina from basic attacks...I don't know what that could be, are you running any sustainables? That causes mana/stamina loss and will not be regained until they are turned off.

Hmm if you are a warrior maybe you have something like berserk going? It uses stamina/hit.

I was using Warrior but it's not the same as when you use berserker. The fight can start and my armor starts spurting blood like I"m getting hit. There could be no one hitting me, like I'd have to run over to whoever I have to fight but the armor will be soaking in blood. And I was a rogue on my other game but it's starting to do it now. This didn't start until last night, and in the second act so I dont know what is going on.

You are reaver then with that pain aura going? Turn it off, uncheck it from the tactics menu if its there too. If you don't when you switch characters the AI turns things back on.

Your rogue is doing what loosing health or stamina?

What difficulty are you playing on? Nightmare has melee friendly fire in addition to spell/arrows attacks.
