Humans are obviously just cereals to the Reapers if we use his lulzy logic.
I say let Earth burn. It doesn't deserve saving.
Fixers, go live in those fleets like some recluse or on a planet with a shifty looking cow to keep you company. Also, you won't have to worry about it using those nimble creepy hands to pickpocket you since everyone's dead to pay your salary.

Anyone considered the possibility of just leaving this thread and never coming back? What do you think Fixers would do in that case?
He'd try to post one last time so he can get the last word. But who cares? "The only winning move is not to play!"

Earth is allready as good as dead, an all the Reapers do is hammering the final nail in the coffin.

Mainly because they didn't read my post, or they didn't understand the meaning of the word 'profit'.

No. It will take the Reapers a long time to harvest Earth. It could take years. Earth is a huge place.
The question is: how do we evict them without also rendering Earth uninhabitable?

We don't,
All it's infrastructre, which is pretty much the only thing they got left on earth, is going to be destroyed in the initial attack.

Engineer a situation where the Reapers have to fight us in orbit... although I don't know exactly how you can do this, short of leaking the existence of a large armada and mass relaying it in 'sequence' to force them to leave Earth to try and snipe the ships as they arrive... yet even that opens up a can of worms, probably not worth it worms as well.

Within a year of the discovery, Earth's eighteen largest nations had
drafted and ratified the Systems Alliance charter, establishing a
representative political body to expand and defend human territory.
Shortly thereafter, the various nations of Earth pooled their military
resources to create the Systems Alliance Military.
So one of the main goals of the Alliance is to defend human territory, so it isn't true that "the Alliance has nothing to do with Earth security".

As said before we don't have to, we could just take our time by pulling our fleet back, melt some puppies at the C-base and the own the sh*t out of the Reapers.

Doesn't explain were are all the state specific armies went, or were the private ships and shuttles are.
The trailer gives the impression that the Alliance is entirly in charge of earth, which of course is false.

It's funny, I don't get the impression that the Alliance is entirely in charge of Earth. Can you give me a link and tell me at what point do you see that?
See, the invasion trailer, there are Alliance symbols all over the news programs fo various nations,
Does the Alliance control the media? not that i know.

Right. Hundreds of mile-long ships breaking apart and crashing back through the atmosphere totally won't wreck the planet with their debris and massive element zero cores spilling out across the Earth's surface. Massive extinctions will follow, the environment will rendered useless for agriculture, and most of the survivors of the war will die off too.
Destroying the Repears in orbit is worse than destroying them on the surface. At least on the surface the contamination from their eezo cores won't be as widespread.
Jeeze, I never even thought about any of this before. I think I need to make a new post in my "It's Impossible To Defeat The Reapers" thread. The situation is even more bleak than I thought.
Just by defeating the Reapers we are going to likely lose the Earth and humanity's place in the galaxy as a consequence.
Now I'm even more sure TIM knows this and that this is why he's aligned Cerberus with the Reapers. It truly is futile to resist. If the Reapers have broken through our lines and occupied the Earth then the war is over.
