and yet you still haven't given me solid proof if there are bases or not, an no speculating on past information isn't an awnser.

There is the base at Macapa Brazil where Ashley and Shepard(I don't know if it's just Earthborn or not) went for basic training.

Hey, buddy, do you know people think you're my alternate account now? That's quite unexpected, remembering how skeptical and not buying into my major theories you always were... Have you been struck by a lightning or something?

Well, you could say i've seen the light, especially after seeing Arrival's 'plot',

Also I could remember someone saying a long while back, that if you spend to much time arguing about your theories and how they work your slowly start believing in them, and for some reason when i'm now reading your theories  they sound 100x more reasonable then they would have 4 months ago, I just invested so much time in try to prove that they were wrong, that you will finally come to the conclusion that aren't.

And of course thanks for all the info, i'm sure it will come in handy.

Also, the Alliance Parliament's electoral system works so that it encourages the MPs to have the best interests of spacers in mind first and foremost and ahead of anyone elses' interests, when brain-farting out the legislation. Suppose there are spacers', colonies' and (maybe) Earth's seats on the Parliament. But as the parliament itself is situated aboard a space station, and in a star system without settled planets at that, the MPs automatically become spacers themselves, which means that if they run for a second term, they have to do it as spacers, while the colonies' and Earth's seats never have such thing as an incumbent trying to get re-elected. Therefore, all MPs are in tight competition for the sympathies of spacers. And the spacers are no doubt dominated by the military. So much for "democracy", lol.

There are only five spacer seats and the rules to vote for them require them to spend at least 6 months in space but not stay in any one settled system for more than a month.

So if any Earth member of the Alliance Parliament spends 32 days in the Sol system they can't vote as a spacer, which might mean they can't run for a spacer seat.

Earth is still divided among nation-states, though all are affiliated beneath the overarching banner of the Systems Alliance

The Systems Alliance is an independent supranational government representing the interests of humanity as a whole.

from wiki

and

The Systems Alliance is the representative body of Earth and all human colonies in Citadel space

from wiki

so would the Alliance fleet come to defend earth? yes, is it the one world government of Earth? no. does it have bases and a military pressence on/around Earth? stands to reason yes. why? it would be cheaper to have the SA base a security force at Earth than for Earths governments to try and set up ANOTHER multi-national military to protect earth and sol.

oh and you want proof of SoL/Earth based SA military bases? Base on the moon you go to in ME1.

the SA's primary mission is to represent Earth/humanity outside of sol both militarily and politically. this doesn't mean it doesn't have operational jurisdiction in Sol as you don't need to represent yourself in your own house.

oh and notice how in the pic at the top of the "Humanity and the Systems Alliance" entry is shepard (Alliance marine) in a ship (that is logically an alliance ship) orbiting, wait for it, Earth.

So it means the Alliance act as the face of humanity, how nice of them.

It would also be much  cheaper to pull you're fleet away instead of letting it be decimated.

Moon is not Earth.

He is in space not on earth.

Try again.

1. That was the whole point to the alliance.
2......That's the codex!...The codex is in game!
3.So by you logic, it ok for the alliance to defend the moon but defeding the earth where people are on makes no sense?
3.Do you not understand "Represents earth and humanity"?

Let's look at it this way.....The reapers want to make more reapers out of people and any human indorinated by the reapers is an extra person in their armie.....That after making a human reaper is going to attack other human colonies.....So do you thing an armie  for 6 million or more humans can beat an armie of 11 million mind less husk with add of super tenhology from the reapers with a infinate armada.....
Last time I checked it's military 101 not to give your eneimes any advantages. So...your say you want the reapers to make humanity a reaper and turn the reat to slaves to take on the rest of the galexy?

Since folks are complaining about this thread, I think it would be better all around if I just shut it down.

End of line.
