The result of Hawke's involvement in the destruction of the Kirkwall chantry wasn't something I'd have seen happen in an entirely new game anyway. However, I do think it's possible that we won't necessarily play as Hawke in this would-be story. If we don't play as Hawke it would certainly keep the mystery around DAII's conclusion alive, which could then be used in a larger storyline (DA3's, perhaps?)
At any rate, I hope we don't have to wait until March to find out if we're going on an Exalted March against Kirkwall.

Maybe this is why all the Voice Actors for the companions were so easily able to return for the Legacy DLC - because they are already working on 'Exalted March'. It did seem suspicious to be able to get all those voice actors so easily for a 3 hour DLC.

It's a conspiracy.
An awesome, awesome, awesome conspiracy that I heartily endorse.
Where do I preorder the expansion?

Sadly then Joshua James Cousland would have to stop being neutral and protect his love.marshalleck wrote...

I am more worry about Leliana.. will she stick with my warden... It would be sad to have to kill her, even if she is working for the enemy.. I like her alot.. do not allow players to kill Leliana, please!
That would be an amazing opportunity for psychological experimentation. Pit players in a conflict against a former love interest which opposes the player's current character? Brilliant! Do it.

Not only that, in DA2 you can kill 90% of the party members.. come on stop killing party members or allow us to kill them all.
That way everyone have a reason to start a new post asking for a character to not come back to life.

Exalted March on who? Mages? With what army? Didn't the Templars abandon the Chantry? Is Orlais involved (most probably)? Why?
For all we know it could be on the templars, as they hold the city. Exalted Marches don't need to use only templars.
And an event of such scale should not be relegated to a DLC, or even an expansion imo.
Absolutely. It would go a long way toward revitalizing the DA2 property too, if the Legacy DLC shows that Bioware has put some of the DA2 issues to heart.
Fans of DA:O won't ever be satisfied with PC VO and a human-only PC, but so long as the game is well done that's all we need.

Awakening was released only 4 months after Origins. Effectively, that would be now, 4 months after Dragon Age II was released. For all we know, this 'Exalted March' may take place between the end of Act 3 and Varric's present day interrogation so you could very well still be right.

And only the Divine can call for an Exalted March, if I recall the Divine is looking for Hawke and the Warden to stop a war, what war you may ask?
Either Fereldan is attacking orlais or Vice Versa, or the mages have become one and are planning to overtake orlais.

There's not going to be an Exalted march, an Exalted march is a crusade trying to show that your god is supreme. The Mages in Kirkwall are not "heathens"

I like the mages attempting to take Orlais idea. However, if it is an expansion, it will more than likely still take place in the Free Marches. Maybe, Hawke and co. are trying to escape the Free Marches. So you start in Kirkwall, escape to, say, Starkhaven, and go through the Free Marches, possibly towards Orlais, setting up DA3? Lots of speculation in there, but that's all we have to work with at the moment

^ It says DA2:" _ _ _ _ _ _ D _ _ R _ _" so its going to be something directly related to the game rather than a book or anime etc as they dont have the 2 attached to the title
If thats the case then I believe Fereldan will be Exalted upon, or Orlais.
Has anyone thought that the Black Divine may call for an Exalted march on Orlais?

It is much more likely that the Exalted March is upon the Free Marches considering what Sister Nightingale says in Act 3; they were already planning it. Bear in mind that section was also DLC, so one of the most recent missions created.

If its DLC then it'll most probably be a self-contained story

I never bought that DLC, boo at sebastian and boo at stalker Leliana.
I don't see why it would be the free marches however, they haven't forsaken the maker.
While entertaining the Idea that the Black Divine of Trevinter is Planning to Attack Orlais due to there religious differences, it would make more sense. Seeing as what happened at the end. There are alot of mages about now, and the templars not exactly organised.
