So I was looking at David Gaider's T-Shirt on the Comic-Con Writer Q&A, and saw it contained an unfinished hangman game that appeared to be teasing an upcoming Dragon Age 2 thing.

The letters were:

 _ _ _ _ _ _ D
_ _ R _ _

With N, O, Y, P crossed out as being wrong letters.

EXALTED MARCH fits inside the spaces, and could tease... an expansion maybe?

Discuss!

That still leaves

open, you know! Think about it! Stinky Orlesian fromage abounds!

Nice to see you've retained your sense of humor, there.

Exalted March! wohoooo!

I wouldn't mind If my hawke and Warden go against the Divines, either white or black they are DEAD! Who leads? the one you start the game with the other go as companion! Please!!! :)P

I am more worry about Leliana.. will she stick with my warden... It would be sad to have to kill her, even if she is working for the enemy.. I like her alot.. do not allow players to kill Leliana, please!
I can't wait to kill Sebastian thought. ROFL.

A new character will be welcome by many, I rather stick with Hawke and warden myself all my warden's and hawkes share the same ideas about the chantry. even my warden queen, she lost faith after what happen in Highever.

Now about the Qunari aiding... who? the chantry? not gonna happen, the mages? lol go away.. the templars? they think templars are fools. so who they going to aid? themself, they'll come and get the easy kills... with canons.

Can we get any more news from bioware come on!! let us know about the xpantion already.. gosh, My Hawke's and warden's fingers are Twitching for some action! Danm I won't be able to sleep! If this is a lie I am gonna hurt... lol

The Qunari could aid both sides! What wrong with selling weapons and/or secrets to each side? Also the Qunari may aid the Chantry if it thought Tevinter was aiding the mages. If nothing else to keep a balance of power. The Qunari would not want the mages to win that would strengthen Tevinter.

I know it refers to DA2 as it is written on David's Tshirt, but couldn't it be the subtitle for Dragon Age 3?

It has gotta be the expansion as in the lost and final chaptor that was missing from DA 2. Speculation: Explains why Sister nightingale is is in Kirkwall again at the time of telling of the story in a story arc. Varic did not know everything.

I really hope they announce this soon, as in the coming month though - cos otherwise people will begin to lose interest. Even if they dripfeed clues - that's better than nothing!

Does it mean anything that the crossed off letters are p-o-n-y?

Don't worry. I've got it.

Dragon Age: Curried Mario

Do the qunari eat people? According to the teachings of the Qun, the corpse is a meaningless husk, so why not, in times of famine? Even better, why not eat rival videogame characters? Even those less "fleshed out" than the usual BioWare variety.

(Actually, Mario is a great character, IMO. By virtue of the fact that he's a plumber, he's easily cast in a range of settings.)

(OK, I need to go and get some breakfast before I do *anything* else.)

@Tommyspa (Highly relevant. No-one eats ponies because there aren't any in Thedas.)

Edit: Oh no. I haven't got it. I can't use R, can I? Curses.

Sauteed Warts. Brilliant! (It's the first word that's tricky.)

My last one had O in it too. But don't worry. I have breakfast with me now.

Dragon Age: Kittied First

Story DLC that delves into the roots of *spoiler* Orsino's madness. The player is transported back to a pivotal, and cosmically confounding, moment in Kirkwall's history. It was Orsino's birthday party and every guest, save one, bought him a cat. (Explains a lot.)

I'll only buy it if Anders is there with Ser Pounce-a-Lot

Oh, I thought it would be a Merrillcat adventure, since Merrill was the Keeper's first. :P

Good point. I was thinking First Enchanter, obviously, but you're right. That would've been better.

How about, Dragon Age: Misbeld Meril.

Her name is not the only thing misbeld in this charming tale of the Alienage's Greatest Hero. Written collaboratively, by Varric's youngest students, this former Dalish First is often cast in roles more exciting and beautiful than many would consider plausible.

Edit: Oh. Oh. And.

Dragon Age: Femaled Merve

An add-in companion to the base game, Merve is a powerful mage who, although rarely talks to other companions, has extensive banter with himself. Completing his companion quest, involving a horde of angry monkeys and his sworn enemy, Elminster, will permanently change him into Minerva.

(OK. I'm done. That's silly and referential hardcore taken care of and I really need to concentrate on actual work.)

(Anxious edit: PS. Femaled Merve isn't supposed to be any kind of veiled comment on the GBLT community. It's an old school BioWare companion reference.)

This thread feels all too much like an episode of Wheel Of Fortune.

Incidentally, I'd like to buy a vowel.

Yes! We finally get to raze Kirkwall to the ground. I'd buy this DLC ten times over for that.

There's not going to be an Exalted march, an Exalted march is a crusade trying to show that your god is supreme. The Mages in Kirkwall are not "heathens"

But the templars might be. Especially if they've just executed a Right of Annulment without the Grand Cleric or the Divine supporting them, and have continued to pursue mages beyond their mandate.

And only the Divine can call for an Exalted March, if I recall the Divine is looking for Hawke and the Warden to stop a war, what war you may ask?

3 years later. And there is an army of Seekers in Kirkwall, and they captured Varric. They weren't there to sightsee.

Considering who's leading, they were obviously on a shopping trip, for shoes.

Well, it means there won't be ponies in whatever it is. Which is totally disappointing. Image IPB

Speaking of which, could easily see that 'exalted march' turn out as some sort of 'Darkspawn Chronicles 2.0" DLC...

She must have misheard. Hightown has delightful hats, not shoes. Silly Orlesians, listening to the wrong rumours.

Am not sure, some of the shoes (like Anders' and Isabela's and some others) were wicked. Maybe it just takes a Seeker to find the really good shops.

(edited for more shoe goodness)
