The Divine was already considering an Exalted March on Kirkwall by the time of Act III. I don't think the Templars would have any trouble for convincing her to give them a 'yes'. The Order must have done some other horrible stuff that made the Divine and the Seekers say they've gone rogue.

I guess one thing is clear if this possible expansion happens post-Gallows battle and pre-ending: Varric is not going to be able to escape out of this mess.

No, but I wouldn't be surprised if the BD gets Tevinter all riled up to back up the rebelling Mages.  The Imperium went into a decline after the first few Blights on top of Andraste's Rebellion.  This would be a FANTASTIC chance to bolster their power, grab back some land among the smaller kingdoms (like the Free Marches), and the like.  Though that does leave the Qunari a chance to invade while everyone's in-fighting, since the last Qunari invasion was repelled by using mages, something the Qunari were not prepared for given how they restrict their own mages so heavily.

Man... this could be a real mess soon...

I hope you're right about it being an expansion. With all the criticism and what I feel was a game with potential (i loved it but I could have adored it if it didn't rest on reused assets and illusion of meaningful choices), the expansion could really be something great.
I, for one, would love to see the fallouts both from Hawke and our wardens choices impact this exalted march... if it happens.

PS : Bioware devs, do not hesitate to kill of LI if the player actions warrant it and if it is possible to get him a new one . ( like, my Hawke is with Merril but he really wanted Aveline so...)

Exaulted March is the DA equivalent to a Crusade.

Well, i was imagining Hawke would actually show up in this DLC, performing role similar to the one Alistair played in the Darkspawn Chronicles.

Beacuse with so many people claiming they really don't like Hawke and wish him/her dead (and similar comments made about the companions) it'd be crime not to cash on it

Ah OK fair enough then. They could have 2 endings with Hawke living or dying and so satisfy both ends of the spectrum.

Now, this is what I figure: He wants us to this is think an expansion to get our excitement building, then they announce an announcement date on what ______D __R__ really is...

When really it is just teasing the announcement that in the end will be extremely underwhelming.

Watch this be the name of the next BioWare Bazaar.

DA2 would certainly become more interesting with an expansion of this kind.

I thought we were going to have only DLC  that have no real importance for the plot. It would be a nice surprise.

I think that expansion may be sufficient, to describe this event and focus on it.  A dlc, definitely too short. Unlikely

Wait until the next episode doesn't please me too much, because that would mean once again focus on the conflict Templar / mages, so it would be cool for an expansion. This is where I see the better to continue on it personally.

Hawk's situation ? His companions ? New companions ? New character ? Minor characters became more important ? Orlesians ? And I hope to see Petrice again, and also Qunari in the same time to kill them all.
