Best one yet. But still too young. Early 20's, just out of the academy. Not experienced in any way that would allow her to be an N7 op.

#6 has been last since it started, just like #5 has been in the lead right from the beginning.

The rest have floated around each other. None have come close to #5, hence everyone already claiming it to be the winner.

Guess it goes to show what everyone really already knew that its all about looks.  A simple change like that and people can quickly change opinion.

The face customization options have never been great and I never absolutely loved the original default but she suited the role well enough.  She was attractive but not uber pretty and she projected a realistic level of professionalism.  These possible default options just don't look like a elite soldier in her 30s who has been through hell and back.  Instead, she looks like a teenger playing dress up.  She even has the pouty attitude that my thirteen year old cousin has.  As a female gamer I don't want to play a female Shepard that looks like a Bratz doll. 

Even if there is more wear on the final product, I think I'll take my chances with my own customized face.

FemShep number 6 somewhat resembles a futuristic version of my
<------------Dragon Age: Origins warrior avatar.

And regarding Blonde Shep; age her a little and get those pitch-black eyebrows to match her blonde hair and I can accept her as default (though my personal favorite is FemShep #1).

Most of the images are nice (the hairstyles) but I'll rather stick with my custom made since the samples all looked rather young. They don't have that ... "weathered" aura.. If the hairstyles can be used, that'll be great.

I agree that all the femsheps look too young. She should be in her mid 30's imo.

As long as Shepard looks mature, which she obviously does. You can tell it in the eyes, I really don't see how not looking her age is a bad thing. Hell it's called a compliment in today's society, and it's something that we're going to be seeing a-lot more of in the future.

About the modified #6 though, Iono what it is about the haircut that makes her forehead seem ludicrously huge, but I can't shake it The eyes and nose don't sit right with me either, but to each their own I suppose.

Perhaps people age better in the future. Someone at 35 today would look way younger than someone of the same age just 70 years ago.

Besides some custom Shepards look really young too. It's not that much of a big deal for me.

Anyway, when was this going to replace default Shepard, last I heard it was just an image to feature on the back of the collectors edition.
