Not keen on any of them. I'd rather have one that looks like default 'Jane' Shep. The art styles used in those images doesn't look all that good to me :x

Yeah, haven't heard anything from 'Casey and the Gang' explaining why not...

If it's the old 'Sex Sells' argument, I'll throw up...

Actually I assume its because their were complainers about how Default Fem shep doesn't have a modeled face like Default M shep. Now this isn't a model but the faces look like some pretty nice designs.

You know, #5 is probably going to be the FemShep cover-girl but all of those Sheps are probably going to be default presets.

Gender can make someone radically different in mindset, growth, appearance, psych, etc etc.

So explain again how gender has made her look 15 years younger than she actually is and extremely plastic? ;)

That's your opinion brother. Not a fact. She looks different, it makes sense. If you don't like it, that's fine, but it is the way it is.

She's 100% guaranteed to win at this point so you may already start celebrating. ;P

Well, I liked 4 the most but the blonde one ain't bad and there's awfully few blonde people in ME universe so yay? Wonder if the face is final or they'll be tweaking the winning one after being sure which one goes through

It's scary how upset people are getting over this. Though I don't get how being a soldier makes you look older... or if it's required that you look older to be a soldier. In space. After being resurrected. I'm 25 and I'm told I look 12-19, no military for me.
It's not my Shepard so it doesn't really affect me.

This is just me, but I'm kinda getting some Chloe Frazer vibes from Number 3. I personally prefer Number 1, though. Just thought the Frazer vibes thing was an interesting sidenote.

I'd probably call it a win already, considering the number of voters hasn't advanced considerably in the last few days.

Its rare on these forums that the vote in the lead has such a strong lead. The facebook results so far are the same with 5 vastly ahead. Seems simple clear win imho. Though I would have no objection for all being presets in game, the number 5 should feature in all advertising and covers and trailers imho given such large scale vote lead as well as the preset for it in game.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't have an option for us to pick any of those. Personally I liked the blonde one for look and hairstyle but Femshep just feels like a Ginger to me. She's got to have red hair. I'll probably just end up playing my custom one anyway.

I don't like red heads but I concede I am in the minority it seems on that issue. I guess as long as 5 hairstyle and looks win then I can live with red if needs be.

I just think it adds that Firey feel to the character. I hope such a generalization isn't concidered an insult to people with red hair. Personally for looks alone I tend to lean blond or black hair.

But RPG characters I try to fit my image to the whole character package. :wizard:

I was curious so I compared the Facebook poll to this one, and was pleasantly surprised to see that both polls are actually really close, despite FB's 'multi-vote' loophole.

As of today...

Facebook: 68,477 "likes" vs. BSN (marshalleck's poll): 1,983 votes.

- Shepard 1: 11% vs. 14%
- Shepard 2: 7% vs. 8%
- Shepard 3: 16% vs. 12%
- Shepard 4: 18% vs. 18%
- Shepard 5: 43% vs. 41%
- Shepard 6: 5% vs. 7%

#5 is clearly in the lead by over 20% in both polls and only 2% lower on BSN. #2, #4, and #5 are all within a 2% margin. The only real difference is in their opinions of #1 and #3, with BSN leaning towards 1 and FB leaning towards 3.

The final choice will probably resemble #5 the most due to such an overwhelming preference by the community, but I wouldn't get married to any specific feature at this stage, like hair color. Chances are they'll look at the vote distribution and comments to make minor tweaks (like hair color, skin tone, face structure), and the modelers/artists will most certainly have to make some interpretations once it makes the jump from concept to model.

I'm unpleasantly surprised by the results of this poll. I had never ever envisioned femshep as a blonde. Let along a long-haired blonde. Alas, the masses have spoken.

Then, for goodness sake, let's get them to realize they need to darken the skin tone.... I don't want vampire Shep.

Bleh, blonde Shep number 5 looks greasy and sleazy.

I'd take hot Winona Ryder option 1 or 3, or Rihanna option 4 any day over scuzzy greaseblonde.

If they don't keep her blonde, it would be lame. That's what people voted for. Blondes are not cliche in Mass Effect.

Read the comments on facebook again.... a LOT of the people who voted 5 voted for hairstyle and specifically said... "number 5 but with red hair."

There's also people that voted her because she was blonde. You can't change her hair color just because some people say it. Being honest.

The one that wins will have it's actual appearence featured on the CE cover and Trailer.

Wheter if they add the option to change her hair color ingame or not we don't know. I wouldn't disagree with that, it's just that we don't know if they're going to let people edit the predetermined face.
