Sure sometimes it sucks to be in the minority but that doesn't make the majority wrong for not liking what you like or for why you like it. If Bioware decides to make a preset for it or others in game thats editable I bet people in here would still moan simply because they didn't have enough people who felt same way they did so (might not get the way they want all the time).

I also like number five but and while prefer darker hair to blonde I would be just as happy with blonde, if wasn't as with all ME titles you can make your own custom one.

She kind of is... Except that Lightning's designer actually had enough sense to skip the heavy make up and black eyebrows

You can argue till your blue in the face it won't change the fact there are over 15 thousend people who prefer number five on facebook (so far) and it leads by a truly vast majority with smaller but simular results here. The people arguing the bimbo, blue eyes blonde or not marine enough for them or even the whole holywood blahblah angle are all in the minority and they aren't going to change peoples preference just because they are loud and attack others for why they picked number five.

Regardless of which gets picked and number five looks like the winner on all fronts, if you don't like it just make your own with the custom character feature like in every Mass Effect title. Honestly the people who are attacking the choice of number five sound like children throwing toys out the pram in a state of a hissy fit because so far they aren't getting their way.

All serious seriousness aside...  ...Your right and it makes for an interesting debate about stereotypes and personal preference.  I can imagine how hot this thread would be if the polling was actually close.  There would be a major flamewar going on and unfortunately the Femshep 5 "Deal with it" wouldn't exist (I always find "Deal with it" pics are funny regardless of what side i'm on lol)

See that's my second fav.  If it weren't for Femshep 5 I would go for this one for sure.  I also wonder if Bioware was inspired a bit by Kaidan's description of Rahna (if i remember it correctly).  Could have been interesting having this be Femshep and being in a romance with Kaidan.

I think you people are getting natural blond mixed up with bleach blond. Bleach blond does look cheap and all those other things you have been saying sometimes but natural blond does not. Real true blonds CAN have dark eyebrows etc. And all the dumb jokes I have heard are usually aimed at someone who is not a blond but a brunette. Mother nature has made it abundantly clear that the real truth is there are all kinds of people with all kinds of coloring and the looks and coloring of the person does not determine who they are or what they can accomplish.

I think Strawberry Blonde #5 looks more like Lightning than the normal unedited one.
