Nothing against blondes nor is it that I think the color doesn't suit Femshep; however, if they had styles geared towards blondes. Here me out:

I am not saying that styles for blondes should be just the stock respresentation most of us imagine: (Long) and that's it; however, they don't have that stock respresentation. That is where the problem (for me) lies.

Many other games have this which means that it's an option if you don't want it, but ME doesn't have it. Just imagine how pissed Femshep would be if she wanted to grow her hair out - not being allowed to? Also, note that the stock visioned respresentation not only applies to blondes.

Then again, nobody has long hair (shoulder length at the very least) in this game. Again, that's not a bad thing; however, to let us have that ideal resprentation as an option.

They need more hair styles for custom and default PCs and NPCs in general anyway.

All serious seriousness aside...  ...Your right and it makes for an interesting debate about stereotypes and personal preference.  I can imagine how hot this thread would be if the polling was actually close.  There would be a major flamewar going on and unfortunately the Femshep 5 "Deal with it" wouldn't exist (I always find "Deal with it" pics are funny regardless of what side i'm on lol)

I think a lot of people in here need to grow up, pick the one you like the most and move on stop trying to convince others are being idiots or generic or bad for picking their own favorite. It happens to be shown both on these forums and on facebook that in both instances the most people by a very long way prefer number five. You can argue till your blue in the face it won't change the fact there are over 15 thousend people who prefer number five on facebook (so far) and it leads by a truly vast majority with smaller but simular results here. The people arguing the bimbo, blue eyes blonde or not marine enough for them or even the whole holywood blahblah angle are all in the minority and they aren't going to change peoples preference just because they are loud and attack others for why they picked number five.

Regardless of which gets picked and number five looks like the winner on all fronts, if you don't like it just make your own with the custom character feature like in every Mass Effect title. Honestly the people who are attacking the choice of number five sound like children throwing toys out the pram in a state of a hissy fit because so far they aren't getting their way.

So just because the majority says X I can't voice my dissent for linking Y? That is ridiculous. They made a poll, democracy. Yes the majority wins but the minority still has a right to say they don't agree. Fact of life.

Well when it comes to it Lightning actually does not look like the "blond bimbo", she is very FF and stylized, but at the same time an unique design, if someone has character artists who can put together blue eyes and pink hair of all things and get a badass it's FF stuff, that's what they get their impressive pay for But ME designer can take a lesson - if you travel that road make sure not to overuse make up. or give the impression of dyed hair by giving the character absolutely black eyebrows

#6 is the best one *-* I'm happy because the blonde one is the option of the majority, because i'm kinda suspicious about majorities and their choices. xD

Even if she is not Bioware's choice on the matter, I hope her hair and her eyes are available to our own Shepards =)

Personally I don't like number 6 as she reminds me of winona ryder in beetlejuice. A child that in my mind doesn't fit with Mass Effect heroine.



Number 5 however does to me personally fit the beautiful yet strong woman style I can imagine in Mass Effect. Being attractive is just as strong as being unattractive.
