Someone uploaded it to deviantart. So far we've only seen large scans of 5 and 6.

Oh man okay, I need 3 so I can make a wallpaper. :P

In the end it doesn't matter what excuses people come up with as to why others should be denied their choice to matter, people want what they want and given the vast majority I think they should get it which just so happens to be number 5.

Yes, but it although means ignoring the other 23 thousand that voted for the other 5 choices, so by picking the most popular they actually will disappointed more people. The majority only works when it's more than 50% of the sum.

Nice. I think they should slowly lower it down. Elimination. Take the two lowest out his round, and keep going until there is only two to choose from. So it will end up being over 50%

won't change the fact that the first thing to be changed will be her hair colour once you can customize.

Brilliant strategy. Had they chosen one, people would be outraged at Bioware. Now, all you can do is complain about the taste of fellow ME3 fans.

Indeed.

Yes, indeed. I hope the next hero they will do, they will not ask to people.

Otherwise, we will have the blonde bimbo again.

You can vote for multiples, so there's no proof that 23 thousand disliked #5. Many of those might have also voted for her or voted for multiples aside from her.

Whatever. You girls and fanbois can fight and argure over which high school girl you think is cuter as if this was some Miss America pagent or some fluffy thing like that.  I'm just going to wait for the trailer and when it comes out, I'm going to enjoy it either way because I'm just going to imagine Sheploo instead. This little "FemShep brawl contest flick" has just lost any good image I had for FemShep.

While were at it, why not install a cute little saloon on the Normandy? aww.

You want her in charge of the Normandy?

I am new to the forums and I'm unsure what is going on to be exact, but I have to agree. I didn't realize I was signing up to a fashion contest when I joined Mass Effect. Something totally DIFFERENT from "fashion"

And the creepy part is that 2/3's of the people here are dudes. ......

#6 looks like Adriana Lima. And that's nice, because she is very mixed and humans in the future are supposed to be mixed too.

Or maybe they won't, nobody can predict the future or tell how human should be in a few hundred years, but on the ME novels it was said that natural blonds became a rarity.

Which is one of the reasons I like blonde Shepard.

Though Revelation was working off the assumption that hair colour was a Mendelian trait. And it isn't.

I think it's a shame that they gave #4 and #6 such dumb hair cuts, though. I'd have really liked boxart FemShep to have had a dark complexion.

I voted for #4 because it would awesome to see a POC on the box(since I'm black XD) It would make my year, but seeing how the direction of the votes are going. It's definitely not going to happen.

Someone else on this forum besides me is black???

:D...representing....

@CaptainSpaceout...yeah, I know wat you mean......but......no, it's not gonna happen. I thought for a second it would after watching the reaction to her on the live stream. It was surprising...and how quickly all her pics for Hale to sign disappeared (according to someone that had been there...idk).

But apparently I'm still a wild eyed dreamer.

I'll just hold my beautiful black FemShep a lil bit closer...;)

Its a photo of one of the small pics that were signed and given out at the event.  :)

Okay, can we get some photoshoppers to please slightly age this Shepard, or at least somehow give her a more battle-hardened grit?  Would be pretty cool to see some high-rez examples of this.

Like the one in your avatar? I like that. Sheploo knows how to play in the dirt. Why can't FemShep? These make her look like she is putting make-up on between shots while she is getting fired at from some bad dude. :P

Along the lines of the OP, I personally liked #4 and #5. Both seem to fit the "tough action-girl" aesthetic quite well. #1 through #3 just look a little to boyish while #6 just kinda scares me.

Or they may not have.
That's why It may be a "consultative" vote instead of "selective" one - the designer will look at the reactions in the end, and come up with the final version that is both a middle ground and reflects the likes and dislikes of the public.

Just noticed they all look like they are 23 years old, while MaleShep looks more or less his age. I guess Bioware can handwave it with "gene therapy" or she had the 2180's equivalent of botox.

That ageing doesn't take as severe a toll on humanity in the 22nd century has been canon since the first novel. Though, admittedly, they rarely went to lengths to show this. (Anderson is a man in his mid-forties... and looks like a man in his mid-forties... and, christ, don't get me started on Pressly. His GRANDFATHER fought in the first contact war? He signed up with the Alliance straight out school? REALLY?!?!?!?!)

Assuming BioWare is only using one Shepard, picking the Blonde (One with the most votes) is the soundest decision. Sure they'd probably disappoint 23 thousand people, but if they didn't use the Blonde Shepard they'd screw over 16k people alone from that one choice.

Someone's going to be pissed either way, so unless they find a way to include all the presets, no, not everyone will be satisfied. It's simple math. Picking anything but the one that got the most votes will alienate more fans, regardless of the percentage.

Honestly, everytime you post, I start to wonder if you're not blonde yourself.^_^

Yes, I'm talking about ME future =) I don't believe that in 100 or 200 years almost everybody will be of mixed race, but that would be coherent with the game lore.

OMG...I don't wanna even think about if they do that. If they do I'll have to leave the forum for a week because it'll get nasty up in here:blink:

Aye - the one in my avatar was done by Nyoko, which was really good.  Would love to see more examples on the high-res picture.

If you want FemShep to look gritty, throw some dirt, blood, sweat, and tears on her like the new Lara Croft for next year's reboot of the franchise.

Indeed.  They're all meant to look much younger, for longer, but that's not really reflected in any characters so far.  I recall Sanders, who isn't much younger than Anderson still looks like she's in her 20's. But they've made the characters look the way they look in the game despite the books, so, for the sake of consistency, it would be nice to give these Shepard's a bit more age/battle-hardened grit - not too much though.

If they did that they would end up with a **** storm compared to the few vocal minority people like yourself who don't want number 5 on here atm.

The VAST majority want number 5 style hair, the best you will get is a second round of voting which is just number 5 style but the second round will be about picking most wanted colour. However thats is the best you could expect and imho as the majority by a long way have asked for number 5 style the minority should not overwrite what the majority have asked for which is basically asking them to pick one then saying your not going to give them what they picked.
