In the end it doesn't matter what excuses people come up with as to why others should be denied their choice to matter, people want what they want and given the vast majority I think they should get it which just so happens to be number 5.
Yes, but it although means ignoring the other 23 thousand that voted for the other 5 choices, so by picking the most popular they actually will disappointed more people. The majority only works when it's more than 50% of the sum.

Yes, indeed. I hope the next hero they will do, they will not ask to people.Malanek999 wrote...

Brilliant strategy. Had they chosen one, people would be outraged at Bioware. Now, all you can do is complain about the taste of fellow ME3 fans.

You can vote for multiples, so there's no proof that 23 thousand disliked #5. Many of those might have also voted for her or voted for multiples aside from her.Ajaxto wrote...

Nice. I think they should slowly lower it down. Elimination. Take the two lowest out his round, and keep going until there is only two to choose from. So it will end up being over 50%

Whatever. You girls and fanbois can fight and argure over which high school girl you think is cuter as if this was some Miss America pagent or some fluffy thing like that. I'm just going to wait for the trailer and when it comes out, I'm going to enjoy it either way because I'm just going to imagine Sheploo instead. This little "FemShep brawl contest flick" has just lost any good image I had for FemShep.
While were at it, why not install a cute little saloon on the Normandy? aww.
You want her in charge of the Normandy?
Which is one of the reasons I like blonde Shepard.FiveThreeTen wrote...
Or maybe they won't, nobody can predict the future or tell how human should be in a few hundred years, but on the ME novels it was said that natural blonds became a rarity.AerisBru wrote...
#6 looks like Adriana Lima. And that's nice, because she is very mixed and humans in the future are supposed to be mixed too.

I voted for #4 because it would awesome to see a POC on the box(since I'm black XD) It would make my year, but seeing how the direction of the votes are going. It's definitely not going to happen.
Someone else on this forum besides me is black???

Okay, can we get some photoshoppers to please slightly age this Shepard, or at least somehow give her a more battle-hardened grit? Would be pretty cool to see some high-rez examples of this.

Though Revelation was working off the assumption that hair colour was a Mendelian trait. And it isn't.
I think it's a shame that they gave #4 and #6 such dumb hair cuts, though. I'd have really liked boxart FemShep to have had a dark complexion.

Or they may not have.
That's why It may be a "consultative" vote instead of "selective" one - the designer will look at the reactions in the end, and come up with the final version that is both a middle ground and reflects the likes and dislikes of the public.

Like the one in your avatar? I like that. Sheploo knows how to play in the dirt. Why can't FemShep? These make her look like she is putting make-up on between shots while she is getting fired at from some bad dude.

That ageing doesn't take as severe a toll on humanity in the 22nd century has been canon since the first novel. Though, admittedly, they rarely went to lengths to show this. (Anderson is a man in his mid-forties... and looks like a man in his mid-forties... and, christ, don't get me started on Pressly. His GRANDFATHER fought in the first contact war? He signed up with the Alliance straight out school? REALLY?!?!?!?!)
