Just me or is the red hair more striking? As in attention grabbing. Idk

in ME2 my Shepard had red hair and pink armor. She saved the galaxy with STYLE

Its not pink, its lightish red.

By the way, if I wasn't clear, I'm messin with you. lol

While I'm not wild about any of the options, I like #4 the best. But why am I not surprised that blonde FemShep is winning? Never understood the love of blonde a lot of guys seem to have. I personally prefer darker hair. (and skin, as can be easily guessed by looking at my profile pic)

I think its more because of the hair not because she is blonde. Personally if she had black hair or red. Hell even brown I would likely have picked her.

If it were up to me, I would do # 5 but with red hair (# 2's hair color). Overall, I'm torn, though. #1 looks the most like a woman in the military, but # 5 is the most attractive for me (I have a thing for blondes). It's tough.

Some of the best and coolest soldier chicks in games are blonde.

Samus Aran (Metriod)

Anya (Gears of War 3)

Cammy White (Street Fighter)

I say, let Jane Shepard join the rank of blonde ass-kicking female video-game soldiers!

I think it's safe to say blonde femshep will be the default in ME3.
Just checked both the facebook poll and BSN poll, she's winning both dramatically.

1-3 look like Winona Rider Shepard, 4 looks like Janet Jackson Shepard and 6 looks like Penelope Cruz Shepard. And if 5 looks like Barbie, Barbie's looking pretty damn badass these days. 5 all the way.

And let's spare the hipster attitude about her looks: when you're fighting in the military, long, wild hair might be a concern, but when you're saving the universe from ancient robot spaceships... it's not at the top of the list.

PS I prefer dark hair; it's more the style than the color. She looks far and away the hottest of the six, and would whether she was blonde, brunette, firecrotch, you name it.

I am sure it is nothing a "phone tree" couldn't solve ;).  Ha facebook brought democracy to the masses.  Take that western style two party democracies you need a hot blonde femshep to win these days :D

You can "unlike" the one you liked and like the one you erm like.....  I think that makes sense ?  Just go to the one you voted for and unlike her and then go to the one you want to vote for and like her.

I really hope they have all of them as presets. I imagine it is rare someone plays a custom ME2 femshep with out tweaking the hideous presets that were included by tons. It would be nice to have a few presets where I only wish to change a hair color or brow style.

The more I see Rihanna, the more I'm glad Blondie is winning.

Why do you say that?:(

I said I wasn't going to post, but I knew someone would reinforce the idea behind belittling the examples showing any ethnicity other than caucasian.  It's a bigoted statement to make and I'm sure LP knows it.  Any time someone references someone looks like a person of color and doesn't say that it's good it's usually negative.  The same cannot be said about others.  Someone says one example looks like Natalie Portman everyone that doesn't like Ms. Portman has to voice that they don't like her.

Those who express the same statement LPPrince made have to go out of their way to explain their statement because they know it will be viewed as a bigoted statement.  Good luck trying to explain it though.  As another poster said: the Aryan is winning. <_<

That's just looking for negativity where there isn't any. I find Blondie to be a better fit than #4, which looks similar to Rihanna.

Rihanna in the first pic? Nice. Not for a soldier, but she's pretty.

2nd pic? Not so much. Or at all, really. And that's the one that best mimics #4.

That's my point. Not, "ALL HAIL ARYAN RACE" which would be crazy since I'm American, Cuban, Indian, Spanish, Irish, tanned skinned, and have absolutely no issues with people of other races.

Look for positivity.

I said before that #4 looks amateurish. This is true, at least for me. She looks good as a model(especially with that red streak in her hair) and looks cute, but I can't take her seriously as a soldier.

That's just my opinion though. I wanted to clarify that there's no hidden meaning/intent behind what I'm saying, as I feel that's what it might be coming off as to you and that is definitely not the case.

Do you really think that having a mixed background means you can't be a bigot?  You say I'm looking for negativity.  You were asked why you said what you said.  It took me to point to how your comment can be interpreted everytime it's made for you to even discuss it.

You made a comment and ran thinking no one would hold you to your comment.  Number 4 was said to look like Beyonce earlier in the thread.  That's not insulting considering she looks nothing like Beyonce?  You made the comment about her looking like Rihanna and she doesn't look like her, but for some reason you don't see how insulting that is?  One of my earlier posts included that I could probably 'make a statement about how we all look alike', but somehow people didn't see that.  But you think I'm looking for negativity.  No, my friend.  As I said earlier, I want to be the last person to pull the race card.  The very damn last person to do so, and I gave my reasons for why I jumped in.  But seeing comments about number 4 resembling Beyonce and Rihanna is taking it somewhere it should never go because they look nothing like option 4.

I like 1 best. If you're going to do #4, change her hairstyle and lose the lighter color stripe. It makes me not take her seriously and you don't want your hair in your face in battle. 2 and 3 are a bit bland, 5 would be all right if her hair was a bit darker, but it also looks like it'll be annoying on the battlefield, always tucking those stray strands behind her ear. Also, as it is now, it looks dyed. 6 makes her look like a teenager.

The reason why I like 1 is that it's the most visually interesting and it makes the most sense to me. It gives the impression that she's seen a lot, been through a lot, knows what the battlefield is like, and values practicality over good looks. (If only she weren't wearing make-up...)

........So the problem is that someone compared.........one of the presets.........to a couple of celebrities?

Hey, someone earlier said that #6 looked like Adrianna Lima. I HIGHLY disagree, but why on Earth would that be offensive in ANY way?

What are you getting at, dude? Just say it.

No, dipstick. It's not insulting to think a character looks like a real person. Even if you disagree.

We all see physical apperances differently - that's why we're having this vote.

I voted for number 3. She actually looks like she has been in an army and I like the little touch with the hair coming back around on her right.

Didn't want to vote for number 5 since the hair style(don't care about the color) reminds me to much of a mullet.

*peers carefully at #4*

So if I said that I don't like number 4 because I subjectively THINK she looks too much like the celebrity Rihanna, (who I enjoy listening to) I'm a racist or am I missing your point?

Does it make you feel better that I don't like number 1 because it looks too much like Natalie Portman?

I really like 5 because of the uneven hair and she's the only one that looks like she'll tear you in half if you so much as move a muscle. Once again, MY opinion... :police:

Note: I know your directing this at LP but I can't help but feel you're kinda overblowing a simple opinion that LPPrince prefers a Shepard that doesn't look like a famous celebrity.

At least, 5 looks like the badass Samus Aran. :D

Well, that and I don't find Rihanna as looking like a Commander Shepard type person, facial feature wise.
