I voted for #2 cos I think Jennifer Hale's voice would fit well with her, and plus that Shep looks quite a lot like my human female Grey Warden XD so I'm biased ;P

#5 reminds me of this woman so much. If you've seen FMA, you'd know blondes and can be tough and gorgeous.

There's a High Res blow up of Blondie. I'm hoping someone photoshops the Strawberry Blonde color on her to get a feel for Strawberry Blondie in High Res. As for Default Jane(who I remind people STILL EXISTS IN ME3), a high res would be cool.

I could NEVER ditch my canon male Shep for anything or anyone as far as playing a character is concerned.

But if this default looks good enough, or I can make a very good looking FemShep that's custom, I'll have an alternate universe Shepard.

I can make a nice-looking Female Shepard, it's just that when you look at a custom one and look at the defaults, the custom ones never stack up (most of the time) and that frustrates me endlessly.

Male Shepard is me and nothing else.

I had difficuly envisioning myself playing a female character (since I'm a guy) so I switched around the perspective.

FemShep would be more of her own character and I see myself as the omnipotent bystander that leads her towards the right direction. I'm the author writing FemShep's journey, deciding the decision and choices she makes while also feeling for her as she struggles to save humanity while trying to find the acceptance of the man that turned his back on her in ME2. For some reason, I'm currently more attached to her than to my own male Shepard.because I feel like she's the type of person I'll love to meet while it's strange to think of my canon Shepard that way since he is me. It's the same feel you get when you're reading a good book and you're rooting for the hero. You're not part of it but you feel extremely attached for that character to succeed.

Heh.. hope that makes an ounce of sense.

Some people are acting as if #5 is gonna be the only FemShep you can EVER play as.

Get a grip on reality folks, customs are still available as well as the original preset FemShep from ME1 and ME2.
