As long as she looks like she's in her early 20's but looks battle-hardened (like Aris Ravenstar's photoshop - see sig and avatar), I'm happy.

Also I find it funny that people are calling some of these cliched... Its such an overused term and i'm not sure people actually know what it means sometimes. I think it has just become code word for "I don't like _____, but I cant be bothered to give an intelligent reason."
ps i came this close to saying the term cliche was cliched... REALLY had to restrain myself...

I like your avatar. I'd have pegged her at 24-26, which is... acceptable. There is something about the set of the cheeks and texture of the skin that makes her look appropriately aged. I would like to change my vote to "Aris Ravenstar's photoshop."
If I might ask, what is it about a FemShep in her early 20's that appeals to you?
On a related note I would submit that the rigors of military life and the stresses of combat being what they are, Shepard should, if anything, look older than her years.

Who cares? Words like racist and sexist generally get thrown around by people when they don't like what they hear, but don't have any real argument they can use against what was said.

Indeed. Plenty of us guys play as FemShep. We should have just as much say on default FemShep's look as anyone else.
