That trick ain't black....I see blondes finally got to represent but Seriously why does every shepard have to be some type of mixed white.....

As a black guy with a black extended family of over sixty cousins, aunts and uncles...yes she is black.

I don't see how being black allows you to tell if someone is black. But that woman is not black. And If she "is" then that's a really cheap. Why be afraid to have her darker?

There are also blacks who are clear in case you would not know ...

Im having a hard time noticing any difference at all to be honest Nyoka    Seems the proportions are virtually spot on.


Anyway ME armour had a tight fit.  Onyx for example.    This armour isnt at all overly sexualised and really does look pretty good I think.   Flattering on her but still protective and decent in design

Does anyone else think that #5 Femshep is based off of Cobie Smulders? The jawline and eyes are pretty similar.

Personally, I like the idea that a TON of people are really mixed in the future.

For example, Captain Anderson has Native American features in him, is outwardly appearing Black/African American, and yet, he was born in London, England.

You guys do realize that everyone of those new femsheps share the same face model? The only difference is the nose in one or two of them (skin tone and eye makeup to complete the illusion).
This is question of what hairstyle and color you like.

I'm not so sure about that, as jawlines and cheekbones are indeed different in some of them if you pay close attention.

Seriously. I think her proportions are okay. Although I wouldn't have noticed if they did that first, now that I think of it...

I don't know. But FemShep is supposed to be also technologycally enhanced right? So I'd guess she would be pretty perfect.

Anyways I aprreciate the effort but I like her how it is now.

You're wrong. The close-ups look different.

The skin tone if different, the lips are different, the hair is different, the shape of the nose it's different, the eye color is different...pretty much everything is different except that the facial structure is pretty much the same on all of them.

But yeah, I picked four, mostly because of the hair. I love that hair.

They pictured a racially female shepherd with black facial features, skin tone and bone structure...but with hair that is not typical in the slightest.

Unless you have white racial heritage mixed in, your not going to have that type of hair(context is white vs black); hence the reason why hair relaxer and straightening products are marketed so aggresively to the "African-American" community.

I was annoyed that they pictured one with such, because it amounts to the same social and societal brain-washing of the media, government and political agendas I see everywhere else; Whitey is hateful, bad, racist and pretty much deserves to have each and every evil thing happen to them.

All-the-while having others emulate what we have because everyone thinks its pretty. Yeah, no hypocrisy there. Bioware is the first major video game making company to push homosexuality and bi-sexuality. At least, one of the main marketed ones.

Now would be the perfect time to push the racial agenda and that is what I predict will happen with the femshep on the cover.

But hey, as long as its against whites; its not racist. Screw you.

I think that #5 fits the bill for default Femshep the most. All the other Femshep choices are just atrocious.

Number 1 isn't bad. The haircut fits the universe properly since she is a soldier, but I just don't feel like it's Female Shepard.

Number 2 is a bit of a disappointment as well. I don't think the red hair works well with the bun.

As for number 3, she looks Asian and I just don't see the default Femshep as an Asian woman.

Now... Number 4... This is one of the worst designs I've ever seen. I can't believe Bioware would even make that. She looks like she has a spray tan, and she has the haircut and hair color of a teenage emo girl. I can't imagine that face with Jennifer Hale's voice. It's just totally unfitting.

Number 6 reminds me too much of Pulp Fiction and Blade Runner. I don't feel like it works for Femshep.
