Number 1 kinda reminds me of Winona Ryder. I like 5 but I rather the hair was not blonde.

It is too bad really. Love the hairstyle, just not the color.

If we're lucky, we can use her as a preset and change her hair to red. If not, I'm sure it won't be long before a texmod mod is out doing exactly that.

Anyway, it's just the default femShep. Blonde is about the last hair color I wanted for default femShep, but it's not as if I have to use her in the game.

Default FemShep would be the best bet, if Bioware still has the rights to that look (or whatever), but I'm really weirded out by the face, which is the same on all the choices, and seems far too young and soft to me. The red bob and previous face is both iconic to the current fanbase and fits with the voice very well. Hale has quite a deep, commanding voice and it just doesn't gel right with this soft, almost fragile, face. Even a severe hairstyle can't really bring it back there.

However - now that Bioware has opened up this contest to the public, they have to use one of these faces despite this. Otherwise people will feel cheated out of their choice. Currently the blonde one is winning, so I guess we'll see her on the boxes and trailers. Personally I think a decent face-saving idea would be to make one up that is very similar to Default Shep ("in response to the fans' outcry for this iconic image") and let that duke it out with these versions. Not that Bioware will read this.

Yep. I was just thinking default femshep looks more mature.

Like default Male Shep or Default Hawke.
So, if we are going to campaign for anything, maybe we should call for tweak-able default faces. i.e.Just changing the hair color for FemShep #5.
Having this is very important especially for XBox vers.

I am not a fan of blonde but oh well. I just want to able to have all of the hairstyles in the creation screen.

Either 1 or 5 alough I think 5 would look better with darker hair ( light brown perhaps )  not that I have anything against blondes but arn't those supposed to be super rare in ME3's timeline .

Call me partial if you must, But I love option #5 (The Blonde one). She looks almost exactly as my "Main" female Shepard (I've got 2 "Main" sheps, one male and one female, and several "alts"),  except my main femshep had just a tiny hint of makeup one her and #5 has none. But otherwise they look very similar.

Also there is also a major lack of Blonde characters in the Mass Effect series. The excuse the series has is that blondes are almost none-existant in the future, but that excuse is total crap and also a false myth, Blondes arent going anywhere. The Blonde gene may be recessive, but it isnt dissapearing anywhere.

However even if Blondes are more rare in the future then that only makes Femshep more special and unique (to a certain extent). Also the fact that she has blonde makes her a nice counterpoint to the "Default Male Shepard".

But most of this is irrelevant as there is no "Canon Shep" and everyone has their own femshep in their game, But if we must have somekind of a representation of Female Shepard then lets make it something Special and visually striking.

This is just my opinion, No offense meant to anyone. My vote goes to #5 Blonde

1 and 2 seem a bit too severe and 4 and 6 look too much like fashion models. I prefer the hair style on 5 but I prefer the hair colour on 3.

They all look too young, though. I'm pretty sure the Codex established that Shepard was 29 in ME1.

I would have preferred Jane Shepard as that's the look I went with with my favourite femshep run through.

I prefer #5, but ultimately I would prefer at least one of the competing designs to have been an improved version of the default FemShep from ME1 and 2. It seems very odd that she, as a very recognisable and popular FemShep, hasn't been offered as an option.
