In anycase when does this contest end, it seem like Number 5 won having double the votes more than any other.

My reasons for voting #5 is because she looks like my Femshep. So for me, it would be a treat to see a version of my Femshep in the promotions and have her be a default in game. You can say I'm choosing the blonde because I'm a guy for all I care. But I assure you if the blonde had a different hairstyle then I would of made a unbiased decision over what was available.

Yeah, Blondie reminds me of one of my old FemSheps back in ME1. Also, the hair is similar to one that's been in both games. Its different, but it generally looks similar.
I wonder if I can make a custom one that's even better looking than her. Not sure yet, but I can't wait to see some of the custom options.

Yet the ME2 default is considered by someone at Bioware not "Teen" enough. The game isn't even out yet and I am already starting to feel some trepidation as to the quality of the ip due to the politics of it's developer.
...they're just letting us pick a FemShep for marketing, a cover, and another in game option.
Making an assumption like the original preset isn't "teen" enough is jumping the gun, wouldn't you say?
No not at all. Why is the "Teen" the one they want on the Cover. The face that sells the game.
What will be ME3's ESRB rating?
Do not forget they Mangafied Dragonage and nerfed the adult content to drop its ESRB.
Is this another M rated game aimed at Teens?

I go with 5 but a quick question, why do so many of you want her to have a different hair color, whats wrong with blond (If anyone says stupid blond I'm going to face palm<_<)
First off, I know I'm really late in responding; sorry about that if it bothers you, but this is the perfect lead-in. The reason everyone is asking for a different hair color is because of an inherent flaw in the poll. There are too many variables. I'll equate this poll to the CC, as it's the best way to describe this. In the CC, we're offered presets, then allowed to change some variables like hair style, skin and hair color. With this poll, BioWare is basically asking us to choose a preset, but we have no idea if that choice will be final or be allowed to be tweaked. Thus we give our opinions here.
Personally, I think this poll is stupid, for said reason above. A survey asking what hair and skin color we want, what hair style, etc. wouldn't gotten a better representation of the fan's ideal FemShep than this. That said, I like 1 and 3.

A. These FemSheps looking "teen" is an opinion
B. ME3's ESRB rating will likely be M for Mature, as it always has been for the ME series
C. Didn't see any Manga stuff in DA2(I assume that's what you meant) and its ESRB rating is still M for Mature
D. This is (likely) an M rated game aimed at those 17 and up.
I get that you're not thinking too positively about this, and that's fine, but what's with the assumptions and factual language here like you know what Bioware's thinking?
I don't see how that's gonna help anything.

Can't people be glad that Femshep is getting marketed? regardless of whether it was fan service or not. why all the noise over the appearance? it's for the trailer and the game box. in a survey only 13% picked default Male Shep. most created their own version, male or female. relax. chill out. take a breather. honestly the people here make my teeth itch.
if i had MY way, i would have tuned up the default Femshep model and spared us all this annoying debate that will go and has gone absolutely nowhere.
Its like people are forgetting that this is completely optional and that they're still gonna get to play their own creation. On top of the fact that FemShep is hardly ever in marketing and is going to be on the BACK of a box.

Do I like #5? Nah. Am I disappointed that 5 is winning? Oh, hell yes. But I got my own customized Shepards and really don't give a crap about what they are using to market the game.

On BSN, no one is ever happy. Especially if it is popular at the time.

Look at my sig, now look at you. Now back to my sig, now back to you.
What is that in your hand? Look. Its nothing. But if you look at your computer, you'll see me.
What am I telling you? I'm telling you that I wish more people thought like you did.
This is good.
(off of the Old Spice train)
I get that people are not too happy about some of this, but I feel a lot of the negativity is being misdirected, misplaced, and/or not conveyed in the right way.
Wish it was simpler, you know? I know I like this poll and how its gone down. I wouldn't be happy if my choice was losing, but I wouldn't want to say some are trolling, others are racist, others are doing this or that or whatever.
Bah humbug.

That's what I want to see.
Same here, same here. Strawberry Blondie FTW.
I'd pay good money to see any female soldier that was willing to go into a gunfight with hair in her eyes. Sexy? Absolutely. Blocking the gun sight? Definitely.
Good thing her hair isn't in her eyes, then.
Can't say the same for #4 though.
agreed. and until games start giving us the option to look a little different in non combat situations as opposed to combat ones, I will go with the hair I want outside of combat, if I truly think its an issue I have a nice helmet to solve the problem.

But some are just CRAZY. This is at least believable both in and out of combat. So I liiiiiiike it.

You can vote for more than one. Vote for #6 if you feel like that should be the one!
I voted only for #5, but a few friends of mine have voted for more than one, and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Was it ever explained why they decided to redesign the default femshep in the first place?
Not that I'm complaining, the new defaults (which ever one they go for) are a mile better.
They aren't redesigning them. The original default is....I covered this in my post before this one. lol
Ah, my appologies, tiredness is a **** I suppose.
If this is simply for the cover of the CC then I'm astonished at how heated some peoples posts are regarding this.
Even though I prefer #5 (for reasons I stated on page 76, this is such a long thread.) I'll probably mess about with the face myself on another playthrough like I normaly do.

The BACK cover of the CE. So people don't even have to LOOK at her if they don't want to.

Look at default me2 +1 Jane then look again at these options and tell me again there is not an age descrepancy.
In Australia DAO ME 1+2 are all rated MA+, DArtp was M.
In DA2 Combat animations were changed to Dragonball like combat and the Chars went to bed with their clothes on.
The signs that they are aiming at an increasingly younger audience because they are easier to write for, no depth required in story just explosions and little green men (or blue women with larger breasts).
Why are you defending this ongoing capitalist sexism?

I try my best to keep things cool while still engaging in conversation. If you noticed, I NEVER try to insult someone for not agreeing with me or for whatever reason, I just try to be three things-
Calm
Cool
Collected
And even if things get heated(and hell yeah I can get lost in the midst of it and start to get "loud" if you know what I mean) I always try to bring it back down for the integrity of the forum.
I wish others did the same, or at least had the patience to do it.
