why is only #5 getting the hate?
'Cos she has blonde hair, I'm guessing. Personally, I don't associate anything "special" with having blonde hair (or blue eyes).
For many years of my life, I had to deal with hell from my peers, including being stabbed with pens, pencils, plastic lunch utensils, pushed off stuff, punched, and kicked just because I was "different from everybody else" as my teachers would say. Might've had something to do with the fact I was the only blonde-haired, blue-eyed child to attend a school of roughly 3,000 or so elementary students.
*shrug* Don't think that should give anyone a right to be a ******, but that's just me.
Man, was I pleased as punch when I hit 20 years of age and my hair went from light blonde to dark brown and eyes from light blue to dark green. Sure, the "malicious teasing" stage stopped the day my ma took me out of public school to home school me (age 11), but it still felt good when my hair and eye colours decided to change. Still kind of wished the changes would've come about 21 years ago, though, but beggars can't be choosers, eh?
Getting back on-topic, whichever marketing FemShep wins doesn't bother me, whether blonde, a redhead, or brunette. I never use the default, anyway. Customisation for teh win!
