Not really. Considering that people have complained about Jane not being modeled after somone like Male shep was this is actually a way to make up for that. Its not an insult at all. People have been asking for a fixed up Fem Shep model up to the level of Male Shep so that's what they did. They also decided on advertising Fem shep also which is something I appreciate from them. Not saying I like the one who is going to win I still appreciate what they did.

wouldn't it be cool if femshep is printed inside the cover, and then we can choose to turn it inside out as an alternate cover complete with bar codes/back info etc

I was always hoping for the default Jane to be used. She's the face model I use for two of my Shepards and keeping the same default just seems like proper continuity rather than suddenly introducing a new default in the 3rd game.

Still, you can't stop progress I guess!

She's going to be on the tin box inside the slip cover. It would be hard to turn that inside out!

My father (retired brigadeer general, first artillrery then juridical desk for humanitry rights during war -no idea how to translate his position effectively in english-) can't be a soldier because he has very light sky blue eyes? His eyes make him unworthy of being an effective leader?

Why is blond overdone? Just because there is no blondes where you live doesn't make it a cliche lol. I also don't think about half of the girls in my country are pornstars just because they are blondes -.-.

uh......I used photoimpact to superimpose them with a 50% reduction in opacity..the facial structures are practically identical

It's funny that you say it's overdone. How many blonde squadmates do you have in Mass Effect? None. How many blonde on Normandy? None. There is few blonde people on Mass Effect games, but they aren't that many. There are lot of other haircolors (mostly black), but not that many blondies.

So that is just a bad excuse.
