She looks like... twelve in every concept. Option 4 made me cringe the least though... :)

I take it that's an exaggeration.

Not a large exaggeration, maybe a tiny exaggeration. She does look like a twelve year old boy in the blond concept that everyone seems to like, however, =]

I must admit that I fail to agree.

She has the strongest jaw line and is the most striking looking one of the 6.

Plus it's about time there was at least 1 blonde in mass effect.

Indeed. One needs a whiteblondefemale to keep the whitebrunetmale company...

Though I'd still rather have my earlier choice (#4), or 'Bettie Shepard' (#6) than whiteblondefemale.

Still (without trying to be offensive) I think it's kinda stupid to say that Shepard #5 looks young when all of them look about the same age.

Just bringing up a fact.

i'm totally fine if you don't like 5, everyone has it's personal opinion, but don't say it looks like a twelve years old when they all look and are supposed to look about the same age. Period.

I think 5 is the best more for the face though, I wouldn't be too fussed if they changed the hair colour but I would be a little disappointed.

6 would be my second choice.

Edit: the above poster makes valid point.

...Did I say that that only #5 looked young? Nope. As I said in my original post, they all look rather disturbingly baby-faced, #5 just looks more 12-year-old-boy-y to me than the others is all.

Not really. Considering, y'know, that's not what I said. At all.

Yes you did. You first said they looked young in  every concept, but then:

There you have it. Don't tell me you didn't. So you say they look young, but the blonde is the one that looks like a twelve year old boy? That's being biased towards one.

@sabariel That's probably because I was talking about pulletlamer's comment that they all were similarly young.

...Dude... do you hear yourself? They all look too young to me, including my choices. One of those young-looking concepts looks more young-boyish to me than the others... possibly because many, many years ago I went to school with a twelve year old boy who looked much like that, makeup and all. How is that biased, exactly?

I thought 5 looked the most mature out of the 6 because of the stronger jaw line but they do all look to be the same age.

Mind you, there are a lot of young looking 30 year olds.

Edit: I didn't mean to insinuate that your original post did not say that, only that I agreed they all looked similarly young.

Calm down Pulltlamer. You seem like a rabid dog. Stop attacking those who do not follow your logic.

It is, because they're all supposed to look to about the same age. So saying that one looks like a twelve years old is saying that one looks very young or younger than the others, which is stupid.

Even if you meant they all look young, you're clearly saying that the blonde is the one that looks like a twelveish boy from school. There's no room for misinterpretation, y'know.

Still you say that "One of those young-looking concepts looks more young-boyish to me than the others". It's not like I'm reading something different from what you're trying to say.

Still I do not longer wish to discuss with you, I know what you probably meant but saying that "one looks 12, and the others look young", it not the same that saying: "they all look young". Think about it another time.

Besides we already discussed why they look young numerous times in the thread. In the years the ME universe is ambiented around ~2180-ish be sure that people will have a longer lifespan and therefore look younger for more time. These women could perfectly be in their thirties without being out of context in the ME universe.

I'm not attacking anyone I'm just saying it not the same saying: They look young but one looks 12 than saying all look young.

And I'm not a rabid dog I tried to be polite and I even said I was trying not to sound offensive since words can be misunderstood when you're reading and it can seem like I'm saying it angrily, but I'm not. ;)

Pultttlamer You know, look at the appearance is subjective. You do not have the truth, your gaze is not necessarily that of others.

If she finds the blonde younger and less credible than others, it is her right, as it is your right to think otherwise. I do not see the problem. I feel like you're trying to force her to accept your point of view.

......Yeah. You're missing the point entirely, bub. But whatever, I don't particularly care enough to continue trying to make things more crystal shiny clear.

Did we already see this? Shepard's War by Richad Cobbett - If FemShep didn’t exist, would Bioware have been able to create her?

Come on folks, lets face it these are early concepts.  I wouldnt get too worked up just yet and the point has been made several tiimes already.  Afterall she is still going to have a radical overhaul with improved textures and detail.

In terms of detail the images we have so far are even lower quality then the low quality concepts themselves.  You really hae to look hard to even make out she has facial scars.  Additionally with people saying shes pale, theres another improved picture out there that shows she isnt as pale as the first and most widely used up close photo makes out.

Femshep 1. and 2. are, quite frankly, ugly as hell. Eyes, eyebrows, number 2. has even ugly hair color, so big NO from me. Femshep 3. is something more of a pretty version of 1. and 2. Eyes, eyebrows, hair color, all of them are really done well. So MAYBE from me for this one. Femshep 4. is how I always imagined Renegade Shepard. But still to...chubby and tanned. Well, all in all, don't like her. Femshep 5. NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT :D The prettiest so far, DEFINATELY my choce :D Femshep 6. O.O She looks like a convict that still finds time for make up sessions. Hell no.

I'm not forcing anyone on anything. I just said that they're are all designed and supposed to look about the same age.

He/She thinks the blonde looks younger? Ok but don't try to state it's the thruth. I'm not imposing anything.

Dude stop spelling my name wrong. Thanks.

Not only did I not say she looked younger, I did not say it was the stone-cold truth. It was merely an observation, an opinion, based on my own personal experiences. Good lord.

Just... gah. You're not allowed to read my posts anymore, lol.

For all Gods, everyone just start the sentence with "In My opinion...", maybe this will eliminate quarrels and stuff. :)
