The only tutorial with info I can find is the one about Tileset Creation at the NWN2wiki which is a copy from Hellfires version on NWCitadel.
It makes mention that the C3 and Walkmeshs have their own Materals assigned, unfortunatly importing with Expotron doesnt retain any of this material information importing into Max, and the only info i can get is the Mateial name listed in the Objects Propeties.
I remeber a thread linked to a tutorial that had images of NWN2 walkmeshs with multpal Material IDs all with specific colors to them, I understand it would require a multi material material to work, but are the colors and each materials name in the materials list relevant for exporting?... my mind seems to tell me each face id for the walkmesh required a specific color (why it would I dont know).
So far ive had little luck getting a Walkmesh to actually work...
Its only compounded that all the info i need is easily found in searches but is on the old Bioware boards which are still not back up... and I dont see them returning.
If anyone has anything that could pont me in the right direction for creating the proper multi/sub-object materal for a tiles Walkmesh would be great and many thanks. Oh and if anyone knows if C3 meshs have any special considerations in terms of their material (diffuse, normals etc) since my problems with C3 meshs seemingly not working could be that I was exporting mine without any texture information and so they dont appear ingame, even though they do appear in the toolset with C3 visability turned on.
