Because of an email change I have had to create a new account.  I have linked my Warhammer account to this new email but when I go to post on the Warhammer forum I get the msg "You do not meet the requirements to post in this forum."

(I self-editied the two paragraphs I had written.  Let's just say so far I haven't had a good experience and leave it at that.)

Any help available here?

You shouldn't have needed to create a new account here. You can change your old account's email address at http://profile.ea.com/. Keep in mind you can't have 2 EA accounts with the same email address so you may want to update this account's email to something different first.

If you want to post in the Warhammer forums with your new account you will need to register Warhammer at http://social.biowar...form&game_id=14. But a Warhammer account can only be registered to 1 account here.

Please understand that in my original post I was attempting to be brief and to the point so I could get help.  The additional information that is here has been given over the phone and in a followup email in other support channels.  I am gussing there is no tracking system because I have to explain again and again the same information for the same problem to each person I communicate with. I know what the problem is.  I need help fixing it.

It is as if you have a car with a flat tire.  You take it in to the shop and a guy walks out, looks at your car and says, "Well right there is your problem.  You got a flat tire."  and walks back inside.  This is the response I have gotten so far.

This is probably fine advice but it is no help to me. ]  Now we can speculate endlessly what happened here.  Was it me?  Was I hacked?  Was it you?  It makes no difference because no matter what the reason, I'm still unable to post on a forum for a game that I pay to play.   Now, the only option given was to click on "I forgot password" which sends an email to an old inaccessable email account.  Can you understand how that will not help me?  If I can't recover the password (which I didn't change) I have no way of logging in to update my profile.

Once again Im going to guess this is very good advice.  The problem is it also does not help me.  I have an old email account that I cannot access that was used to register my Warhammer Online game AND my Bioware Social Network account.  I now have a new email.  I was able to link my Warhammer Online game to my new email because I can log onto Warhammer Online and go through the "my account" link there.  What I can't do is link that email/Warhammer Online account to my Bioware Social Network account.  As far as the forums are concerned, that Warhammer account is still linked to the old email account and as you say, it cannot be linked to two different accounts at the same time.

I understand you were trying to be brief before and were likely a bit frustrated.  But I didn't fully understand the problem before.  The official customer support channel for this site, EA and EA account's is http://support.ea.com/.  They do have a tracking system and if you contacted them before they should be able to look up details from the previous interaction.  I am not in customer support so I don't have access to that system.

As I see it there are 2 solutions to fix this.

1. Contact EA Customer Support at http://support.ea.com/ and tell them you no longer have access to your old EA account's email address.  They should be able to update it for you and help you recover your password.  Then you can use your old account again on this site to post in the forums.

2. Send me your old account's username, for this site, and I can unlink it from your Warhammer account.  Then you can link your Warhammer account to your new account.  If you would like to go with this option let me know.
