Missing items from Inventory (Warden's Keep DLC items)

My game loads and runs fine, but many items have vanished from my inventory.

Not -all- of the DLC items are gone, I still have the blood armor in my inventory, and I still have the ring equipped.

But my main character's staff "Winter's Breath" and all of Alistar's armor (dropped from the grey wardens in warden's keep) is gone.

This is on windows 7 64 bit.

This happened slightly after i got an error saying I had a saved game using content I was not authorized to see.
I did "logout and log back in" in the game, and continued to play just fine.

None of my save games have any of these items..

Same Problem. I am in the Ruined temple, saved game and started it back the next day. 1 compainion is in her underwear all armor missing and my player is missing a helmet I bought from a vendor. All  the missing armor on the one comapion is vendor bought as well.  None of my earlier game saves have the missing items either.

If I lost all all this stuff for good I'm done, tired of these stupid bugs.

Same problem. Blood armor still there, but the helmet and the staff is gone now.

Same here. Contemplating just installing a warez version of the game + dlc so this DRM not authorized bs stops happening.

Ditto in dwarf town and lost my sky metal sword and boots off alister, sword is not replaceable and boots had a nice stam bonus. wtf gives, win vista, clean install , not happy

same problem, my winter's breath and my sky metal sword is gone too... in addition, my "soldier's pick" quest has disappeared... in spite of having the achievement.

we need a solution!!

Same.. Lost winters breath, starfang (with runes) and soldiers peak was reset, blank entries in my journal. Haven't had a discussion with Shale since I completed her second achievement but she is missing the descriptions in her talents.



This happened just as I confronted witherfang during the Elves quest. Already completed Mage's tower and Orzammar. Running the game on XP and hardware / software is up to scratch. Now the game starts up but once I load a game and begin playing, it crashes. Last time I loaded a game I had Flemeth's Grimmoire in my inventory, even though I've already killed her, and the tome grants 3 attributes when read. On screen it reads "Tome of Mortal Vessel" for memory.



More than slightly annoying, considering the money and time invested into this, no one seems to have heard back from EA and BioWare are 'working on it'.. Here's a tip, stop releasing potentially more game breaking DLC and fix the current batch of broken software we've purchased.

Yup, was I surprised when I loaded up a save game and noticed 2 of my characters walking around in their underwear sheesh.

I already uninstalled the game. i am a huge completionist, and have spent waaay more hours than I should have on this game as it is. I didnt mind too much when i couldnt turn in key quests ( Dwarf King crowning ), but losing my parties best items from all my saves is too much. EA hasnt even written back, so I write them back and told them i want to return it to them, not the store.

The bad news is, your screwed. People have been complaining about this bug for weeks. Not only is Bioware not doing anything about it. They are acting like it is a non existent problem. Tallbear NC found a way for you to get locations back, but as for the sword and equipment, its gone and Bio ware could care less, they got your money.

had the same thing happen to me and i got my equipment back.. not saying this is what to do but this is what i did



1 regeisterd the game.. mine wasnt

2 i logged out of my account

3 i started the game in administrator mode.. i run it on vista

4 logged into account at the main menu.. loaded the same save game i loaded when i noticed all my stuff was gone boom it was back again



thats just what i did and it worked not saying all those steps are nessecary just saying thats what i did

ya this is pretty retarded. I lost my items at the start of the fade section of the mages tower area, and didnt notice till the end (all that shapeshifting). I'd rather shelf the game than redo the whole area.

I too lost a lot of my armor. Lost all of the Blood dragon armor and bergens honor. What is strange is that Sten, who had the Blood Dragon armor, still has the armor value from the items as if he was wearing it even though he is running around naked. I can throw more armor on him and increase his armor value and fatigue.

Anyone else have that same issue?

27 days, credit cards charged for "downloadable" content and you are S I L E N T??? Do the words Law Suite, Unethical Business Practices, or VISA DISPUTE mean anything to you?

I for one and going to reject paying for this content as you have not even read your own damn fourms to see how your product / company is doing. For god’s sake your Bioware / EA. People have invested 40+ hours into this game to all of the sudden have their items gone and zones reset. Is this the kind of experience you want us to have?

At least poke your head in and say "We know its a problem and we are working on it". Silence on YOUR forum is just plain negligent.
