Gun Mods

I'm not very keen on the "Weapon Mod Tables" that are being displayed in the demos.  I find the inclusion of these benches to be forced; I'm guessing they'll be systematically placed like the Armory closet of ME2.  While I preferred the ME1 "on-the-fly" modding, I'll have to play ME1 again to enjoy it.  With that said, I had a thought as an alternative to the ME3 implementation.  

Inventory:
- Based on the ship; you buy / collect various gun mods.  Not sure how you'll get these in ME3, but they'll be stored in a more effective inventory system than ME1.

Mod Container
- Shepard is able to grab a select number of items from his/her Gun Mod inventory ( 3 or 4) and add them to his/her on-person Mod container; this "container" could be an armor feature, allowing greater "slots" for mods with upgrades - or, it could be something else entirely.   At any point in time, Shepard can put his/her gun on the ground and adjust his gun mods from the container.
