truly an amazing artist, he definitely deserved winning and I can't wait to see the concepts he'll be doing for Bioware (if they're in the CE artbook or otherwise released, that is... I hope they are :

Not just an amazing artist, but his ability to really capture the characters in each of the pictures.

Totally awesome. My only fear is if his concept work at BioWare is not released to the open public. Because there is always a mountain of concept art that is never released compared to the pieces that are. Unless there are flexible rules with that and he could release them after the game is released on his blog or deviantart. Then I'm cool with that.

I absolutely love his Miranda picture. But it would unfair to single one of them out. They're all great.

Kudos to Patryk whose last name I would really like to learn how to pronounce correctly!

When I look at his portraits, I feel as if the characters exude atmosphere, versus merely reposing in a static backdrop.

I look forward to many more pieces from this talented artist. Hopefully we'll see a lot of his work in a concept art collection of the ME games.

It was posted by OP, but the thread has been going on for several pages.  Below seems to be a favorite for many on the forum, including myself.  There seems to be something deeply personal in Miranda's pose here, but she's obviously got a mission to carry out (omni-tool flaring) despite being in civilian clothing.
