 Basically when the first game came out I bought it on realese date and, named my character Vega shepard; after the star Vega. I had decided to name him Vega even before ME1 came out, but now in ME3 there is a James Vega. I decided i wanted to start over with a different name, but i cant think of a good first name, so i thought i would come here for help lol. Oh, and on funny side note; my actual name is James. lol.

What's so bad about sharing a name with a character, especially when your only called Shepard or Commander. Name recognition would have been great in this series. How about Sagat, no one's going to have that name and you get to wear an eye patch and yell "Tiger" a lot.

At the risk of sounding blase compared to the rest of the thread, I prefer normal first names. My super-I-don't-give-a-F-renegade Shep, for example, is named Robert.

I have 3 FemShep's named Samantha, Valla, and Ananya.  My bf has a Cyril DudeShep, and I've always thought Cyrus and Seamus are nice.
