I know that Anders is pretty straight foreward...especially since I played ME2....but people like Sigrun, Justice, or possibly Oghren? Will he have the same stuff he had in Origins?

You can buy re-level potions in Awakenings.
I re-leveled them all to clean them up a bit, but, kept them similar to how they were intended, just made them better. Nathanial, stayed archer, Justice S&S, Sigrun Dual-wield, etc. They all had their stats spread out with a focus on one. I kept the spread in relevant stats and focused on one from there on out: natanial, dex, sigrun dex, oghren str, justice str, etc. They all had a little extra will power and I kept that because talents are a good thing in Awakening.
Some of the new abilities are great, some not so great. Aim, Massacre, Spirit Warrior, Unending Furry, and Sweeping Strike are great. If you don't have Death Blow on your warriors, they are worthless. Some of the old ones don't matter so much anymore, like sunder armor. I didn't find Reeving Storm and Onslaught useful. They consume a lot of stamina and the mobs aren't large or tough enough to make it worth while. Plus, I had always had a mage for crowd control/damage, plus massacre, two-handed sweep, etc. I played on normal difficulty.

re-leveling potions? I haven't found those yet...I like the stamina ones.... sucks they weren't in Origins at all
yup I just got Nate, kept him an archer...is it worth it to make him a ranger though? I keep saving the talent points

By re-level potions, they mean Manual of Focus. Herren sells them.
It shouldn't be too complicated in leveling your Awakening companions: just do the same thing that you did with your Origins companions. With the Manuals of Focus, you have more flexibility, in that you can build your warden+companions over from scratch, and change their specializations, attributes, talents and etc.
Usually, as I like to save Blackmarsh for last, I respec Oghren as a weapon+shield tank and make Justice the two-hander. I also like to change Nathaniel's assassin spec, as archers don't make good assassins as they don't backstab much. You could just make Nathaniel a melee rogue, but I like to give him Howe's Bow and so I keep him as an archer, and Sigrun remains the melee rogue.
You'll find the difficulty lacking, as not only do all of the new talents and equipment in Awakening feel overpowered, enemies don't scale up to your warden's level too well. You'll end most battles with everyone at full health and enemies will die fast, even on nightmare difficulty. Usually, I have my companions stick to auto-attacking and their tactics usually include mainly support and crowd control related talents, rather than anything offensive.

As stated you gte Re spec items to buy at any time so no worries.
Anders is mage along with Velanna, Sigrun and Nathaniel are Rogues and Justice is a Warrior.
You wont do them any differant then you would any other character as those classes so I dont see the problem.
Ohgren does return but he dosnt keep any gear you left him with or your Relationship level or his own level.
2 mages, 2 rogues, 2 warriors. Same as Origins. cept you dont need a mod to change their stats and skills.
Think of Anders as a Human Mage, Velanna as a Dalish Mage, Sigrun and Dwarf Commoner Rogue and Nathaniel as a Human Noble Rogue, Justice as a Human Noble Warrior, and Ohgren as a Dwarf Commoner Warrior. In relation to your Warden for "style of character" if that helps.
