UK
Game: £69.99
US

If anyone can find cheaper alternatives for UK buyers, i would appreciate it.

Well price is calculated based on economy condition of the country. So here in Poland where people earn less money - we pay less for that stuff.
In UK where you earn earn more money (i was doing programming stuff for one UK company and in 3 months I earn money that I would earn while working 1 year here) so you can pay more and you pay more.
USA is poor country so they pay less than you but more than I.
Just look on their public debet of USA :-D 14,300,000,000,000.00$ :-D It's around 47.000$ of public debet for every citizen. So if any country like china etc want their money back - every citizen must pay 47.000$ in theory. Practically they would star another war just like always. And if they will keep things going - their debet will rise to 23,000,000,000,000.00$ around 2015.
It's something like that. Your country is in better condition. Just like citizens. Simple as that. So yeah. You pay more because it's UK :-D It's like you are helping USA to get back on their feet.
Greating from Poland.

You can't just take a straight price conversion from one place to another. You've got to look at it all, wages, taxes, shipping, etc etc.

I doubt they use any higher mathematics or economic financial debates. They probably have three people in a room guessing random prices. A bit like..
Mr A "What about $50?"
Mr B "Hmm I think we can get more from them so lets try $60?"
Mr C "$60 sounds about right but lets throw in one more downloadable DLC or something trivial and push it to $80"
Mr A "Agreed ok so moving on what about the UK?"
Mr B "Well we always have managed to snatch more money from them and they keep lapping it up so add £20 on top of original $80 amount"
Mr C "Oki doki, sounds good to me what about you Mr A are we agreed?"
Mr A "Sure why not, I'm hungry so now thats settled whats for lunch?"
