Hey, I'm doing my first Talimance plythrough for ME2 and I'm having to choose between clearing her name wiht a persuade or getting her exiled. If I do the former, I'm worried that she'll be back with the Migrant Fleet in ME3 and won't join, if I pick the latter, I'm worried that she'll be out on some uncharted world in ME3.

Anybody else have this fear about Tali's loyalty mission and how it affects ME3?

Clear her name high paragon level makes it easier and you should try to talk them out of war you will need all the help you can get in ME3

I've done that on past playthrought. it would just suck if my sixth Shepard's lvoer isnt' in the game because I chose to ahve her exiled to the Normandy. Or if in ME3 she's an Admerial if I get her cleared and she can't serve by me for the same reason as Wrex, taht would suck just as hard which is why I didn't want to do a Talimance playthough until now.

you should probly keep in mind what your going to do about legion and the geth in ME3 aswell if your so concerned about tali (assumeing you didnt give it up) as its pretty likely you may have to choose between one or the other depending on your chocies.

EDIT: not really related to your topic, just some friendly advise.

Tali could become the most interesting romance in ME3 due to the fact that it has been confirmed there will be conflict with the quarians and the geth. After meeting Legion, my canon Shepard isn't willing to look at them like they're just machines, so I could see Tali getting really upset if you side with the geth in any way, shape, or form. It would be awesome if I had to make that choice (Tali or the geth) because I have no idea what I'd choose. It would be a decision made in the moment, which I think is what ME3 should be all about.

Talimancers (myself included) could have even tougher decisions in ME3 than some of the other romances due to the circumstances, although I think each romance should face a decision where Shepard has to make a tough decision related to their respective LI.

I know how it's going to play out for me.

Infiltator: I willing to side with Tali since she's a friend and they're organics.

Engineer: Same as Infiltrator

Sentinel: Isn't going to allow the Quarians to destroy the Geth

Soldier: Haven't made up my mind yet.

Adept: My current Playthrough. He's in love with Tali, he's siding with the Quarians despite Tali beign exiled from the Fleet in the hope that her people can A. have a homeworld and B. that Tali can once again live iwht her own people (and Shepard) on Rannoch.

Vanguard: Has hated Tali since Day one, denied her the Geth data in ME1 and handed over evidence of her father's guilt to the Admiralty Board. If he can shoot her in the face in ME3, he will... just like he did to Wrex. (He was also rude to Ash and was more than happy to kill her on Virmire. And yes, this guy is going to save the galaxy.... ) Also, his name is Commander.

Tali or the geth? I say f**k the geth! :)

But I'm sure the whole ME3 is making tough decisions. I'm looking forward to it.

In ME2 Tali willingly leaves the Migrant Fleet for Shepard. The only reason she'd return was if the Geth attacked or if she was given a position on the Admiralty Board, the latter of which she doesn't even want. If Shepard supported her and helped fight the Geth, she probably wouldn't leave, both because the Geth threat was dealt with and because she's simply a great friend of Shepard.

I wouldnt mind if she wasnt a permament squaddie in ME3.

I didnt like her as much as I liked some of the other characters (not that I disliked her) but I admit that I didnt particularily her romance. Didnt find it particularily realistic. Thought it was shoehorned in and contrived.

But thats just me.

It be realistic that she would be with the Migrant Fleet as far as I am concerned.

She is confirmed as a squaddie but it is unknown if she is permanent or temporary.

That he is. He wiped out the entirre colony on Feros and his only regret was that the Geth killed the children first. Also, he killed Chorban as he begged for his life and claimed his innocence. So yeah, eh goes out of his way to kill everything he can. He still got everyone out alive at the end of ME2. He just has a low-functioning case of bipolar disorder. He's Mel Gibson in Space :o

I don't like this guy.  I don't like him at all.  My vanguard is much nicer, and has a much better name.  His name is god.
