Hi all. Instead of paying $10 for a 5 hour DLC I decided to treat myself to this series.
I planned on playing NWN OC -> SOU -> HOTU. However, I took a peek at SOU and noticed that kobolds are my beginning enemies. So, I have a few questions:
1) Will the SOU enemies scale for my character that completes the OC?
2) Will completing the OC + SOU make me too powerfull for HOTU?
3) What do yall vets recommend?
Thanks

Playing the OC will make you much too powerful for the SOU.
SOU is intended to be played with a brand new 1st level character. Really much of the fun is starting from the beginning.
It is intended that you could take this character into HOTU, but alternately you could take the one from the OC if you didn't scrounge every XP ( HotU is intended for a level 13-15 character).
I would recommend OC first, new character for SOU next.
Then HOTU with whichever of those two you like best.

I guess play through OC first to get a background on the story
Then play SoU with a fresh character (expect it to be exported though so plan a build ahead)
Finally, export your character from SoU to HotU then play the game.
You'll finish OC around Level 17 (all quest and side quests done) so I wouldn't recommend it to be exported as the game might prove too easy for you. After playing SoU, your character will reach level 14 tops, a good starting level for HotU.
Plus there's really no connection between OC -> HotU (with exception of some but you have to find out for yourself, don't want to spoil the fun for you). The story will progress smoothly with SoU >>> HotU.

Oh, and if you have Pirates of the Sword Coast Premium Module you can play that then play HotU. LooooooooL
Just for the hell of it. Really no connection with the story line whatsoever, but hey, you get to play a *new* race
;-)
Plus PotSC is alot of fun... lots of pirate cliches but still fun.
You may have trouble getting a copy of that at this date since they don't sell it anymore.

My recommendation is to play the OC tutorial for an intro to the interface and game. Then I suggest skipping to play SoU, maybe a bridge mod available from the Vault, then HotU.

Thanks all. I have 2 builds. So 1 will do OC, the other SOU then both will finish up with HOTU.
