Is there a way to change currency in BioWare points store?
There are several issues with "local currency".
First, I have to wonder why I need to pay in Russian roubles when I live in Belarus, but whatever, that's not the worst part.
Then, the conversion is of course not in line with official Central Bank exchange rates, making me pay more, but everybody knows this and I'm used to it already, so that's not what irks me either.
But my card currency is USD. I made it for international digital purchases, you know, specifically so I won't pay the conversion commission. But now not only I pay more for weird EA exchange rate in currency that is not even local in my country, but I also have to pay commission to my bank for using currency different from my actual card currency. Ain't this just great?
Can I change currency?

Same problem. Live in Ukraine, currency is set (by whom?) to RUB, card in USD - and it is not accepted because of the "local currency conflict". When prices were in USD or (later) in EUR, everything worked fine.

Ha! Found a solution right after poting here. Changed my country to USA on www.ea.com, then tried to buy points again. Voila - prices in USD.

Could you please be a little more specific? I think I got the idea - Paypal is not accepted because system thinks I'm from Russia (doesn't Paypal work there?) and even if I change my region in EA profile, Paypal reveals my address when used as a payment method (the horror!).
But how can I change my Paypal address - it seems to be tied to my card. Should I re-bind my card with a new address? And why had everything worked so fine before?

Edit your PayPal account there. Does this still not work together with the EA profile change?
No idea about Paypal in Russia. Perhaps some guys forgot that the Internet is not in USA only?

well, I solved the problem radically - moved to US
btw, there's PayPal in Russia, but not in Belarus. My country is kinda screwed in more ways than one.
