Hey,

I live on the east cost of Australia, not too far north of Sydney. Over a month ago I ordered some mini lithos, posters and Joker's Hat (:D ). and apparantly two days later it got shipped (25/6/11)

It was shipped using XPO Air. I can only assume the Australian customs are being difficult as when i've ordered stuff from other online stores in the past it hasnt taken 4 weeks for it to arrive.

My question is twofold, one, is there anyway for me to check if it is still in customs, and if not, could I please get some word from either Bioware, Treehouse Brand Stores or XPO Air that it is en route and not lost? And two, has anyone else from Australia experienced this delay?

I'm only asking this as it is the first time I've bought from this store and I spent a sizable amount.

Thanks for your time. :)

I experienced a delay like that once (and I'm based in QLD) and it was because my order was tied up in the Canadian Post System.

I'd open up a support ticket in the store if you don't have a tracking number, just to ask if Treehouse is able to track it, or at least let them know that you haven't received it yet. I know the most I have waited for my orders (aside from the one I mentioned earlier where I waited 2 months) is 2-3 weeks.

My previous orders to Australia earlier this year have both arrived roughly 10 business days after receiving the shipping confirmation email. I have a feeling that there was some mention of an Australian customs delay in another thread a few weeks ago, but I can't seem to find it again, sorry.

Thanks Reyn, have done that, and Iriorne, thanks for your help too. I'm gonna run a google search through the site to see if I can get anything :)

I'm in a similar boat, Thomas (also Sydney) and am waiting on two lithos to arrive still. Thanks for the helpful advice from other posters, these are my first lithos so wasn't sure if I should start worrying yet. Granted, I've only been waiting about 2 weeks so probably a bit early to get antsy.

Well thats good to know another NSW person is having trouble (ie im not alone, not that you're having trouble), despite being a Sydneysider :P (I live in Newcastle :D ). I also think that Customs have been ramping it up since alot more people started to import MK, as I've heard that they are now confisquating all those games, whereas previously they didn't [cause all games are bad :P].

Also, Iriorne, were you reffering to this thread?

Last Time I ordered a set of Mini Litho's, I used MSI Postage method and it took 13 days to get here.

Im waiting on my Arch Angel and Team Litho at the moment. However I used XPO this time.. And they are usualy a week or so longer.. So Ive gotta another week at least before my Litho's Arrive..

Just gotta be patient.

Yep, that's the one I was thinking of, didn't realise it was so long ago though. Interestingly, I had a cerberus lithograph shipped at the same time as the OP in that thread and it arrived fairly promptly. I had it delivered to Melbourne though, so processing times may differ between states.

Shipping times seems to be on the increase for me. Five and a half weeks and counting on my recent order, something very similar on my last. Previously they all seemed to be shipped rather quickly (2 weeks).

The very last order I had was sent via New Zealand and on-forwarded to me here in Australia. Very odd.

@Iriorne, that's probably why. One would assume Sydney would get ****loads compared to other states inc Melbourne.
Also, as was previously mentioned, I created a support case and got this responce:

Thank you for your message.
Your order was shipped on 6/25 via USPS International, who does not offer tracking information.
We currently are experiencing delays with AU customs, with some orders taking 6 weeks to be delivered.  My apologies at the delay, but unfortunately we cannot retrieve information about orders currently at the customs house.
We thank you for your patience, and hopefully it will be there soon!

This struck me as odd as I paid the extra for the XPO mail.

Anyone else noticed this?
