I'm... wow, it isn't very spoilery but it almost brought a tear to my eye. Archery Hawkes don't have the generic melee "finisher" on Corypheus but actually gets one of their own.

Props to whoever did those!

Back at the mansion. Hawke is staring into the fireplace, closes her eyes and imagines her mother speaking and answers her. Then opens her eyes and you can see she is alone.

:crying:

Yeah I loved that scene, it truly put the icing on the cake for my 'Only Hawke left out of the family' playthrough, what with the earlier scene with when Hawke recognises that it is Malcolm's voice. Even though my Hawke's a bit of a heartless beatch, that did make her feel sad and miss her family :(

1st Edit: One of my favourite lines though is..

*Just as you get back to the surface again*
Varric: Oh that's nice!
Hawke: What's so nice?
Varric: (paraphrase) I was just wondering what something awfully foreboding looked like and... here it is

2nd Edit: correct name ;)

Er...I'm pretty sure you mean Malcolm.

And yes, that scene is very well done. Honestly, the whole DLC is great. Romanced!Anders, Carver, and Varric make for one hell of a combo between banter, story, and side quests.

Indeed. Best grouping I've done thus far.

I made a new playthrough, just so Leandra would be alive for it, but that was my party and it was greaaaat.

Next up is orphan warrior Hawke, romanced Fenris, Isabela and circle Bethany! So I shall be seeing this emotional scene. Romanced Fenris has no LI-specific banter though I've heard? :o If Sebastian does why donny Fenris?

Just finished Legacy now with my mage replay, and I have to say, I was quite impressed. The plot of this DLC is much better than that of DA2 alone and it was actually really fun. Corypheus was a great character and he obviously suggests or flat out proves the Architect is a magister of old too I mean look at how both are able to talk and have that mage clothing fused to their faces, it just screams similarity.

As with most I took Varric, Grey Warden Carver and Anders, I wanted to take romanced Isabela but those 3 seemed the most "appropriate" for the DLC. Sided with Larius though it does seem kind of obvious Cory has possessed him because:
(1) The way Larius speaks and walks perfectly fine at the end to Hawke
(2) From Cory's phrase "If I cannot leave with you, I will leave through you! I seek the light!"
(3) If you notice shortly after Cory's death cutscene you can see your ally rubbing their forehead for a bit in the background, seems minor but with all the other evidence makes it look more like possession.

Overall I'm happy with the DLC, the banter, the intereaction of companions, the talk with Gamlen at the end and with an imaginary Leandra (as I was in Act 3) made Hawke shape out much more as a person. Only problem I have is the price of the DLC, 800 MS points seemed a bit hefty for one DLC.

I was slightly bummed that there didn't seem to be LI-specific banter for Fenris, but I suspect it has to do with the way his romance arc plays out. Given that you can pick up the DLC at any point, for the game to acknowledge the romance, it would have to somehow take into account that certain Hawkes would be smack in the middle of Fenris's 3-year flounce, while others would not.  I wonder if that might have been too difficult to work around.

Overall, I did think Fenris got some great dialogue and banter, so I wasn't too disappointed.

I'm at the point where I have to choose between Larius and Janeka. What to do?! What do I do?!

Ahem.... sorry about that. But yes, what should I do? Ghoul or crazy Warden?

Was it me, or did Corypheus speak as if the Golden City was already black when they arrived there?

Certainly sounded that way.

Loved this DLC, combat was just right, boss was cool, minibosses were good and theres lots of nice lore to digest.....some possible answers and more questions regarding darkspawn, magisters, golden/black city, chantry etc.

This is what DA2 should have been like.

The first time I played it was with Lady Hawke, Sebastian, Isabela and Warden Bethany. Sebastian was the romance and Bethany started flirting with Sebastian after he was wondering why people call her Lady Hawke so much. Then out of nowhere a cutscene starts where she told Bethany to back off and then her and rival Sebastian romance kissed! I was amazed!

This was also after I beat campaign

This almost sounds too good to be true.

Must play on Sebastian romancing Hawke NOW.

GDI, just my luck that there's nothing for Fenris-romance. Or at least, I've seen nothing reported here. I'm still downloading the DLC.

Does anyone know if Hawke's Key and the other items have different stats depending on level? My HK dagger did 39 damage at level 17.

That's one of the things that intigued me the most about Legacy. My inner lore geek went bananas.

I was really hoping when Corypheus said something about being a magister and how we needed to bow down to him, Fenris would do a warrior-fly move to his face but he didn't. I was like, 'well, I guess this guy is really just this scary.'

Absolutely.  The DLC was good, but this made it awesome for my bow wielder!

So many things to speculate about...

1. The Golden City being corrupted prior to the Magisters' invasion.
2. The Magisters turning into Darkspawn
3. Larius getting possessed (at least that's what I'm thinking)
4. Why were the Profane in the prison? Were they called there as well? This only strengthens my notion that the Dwarves caused the emergence of the Darkspawn

and more.

I just barely finished playing through Legacy as a Blood Mage and a Spirit Healer. Warden Carver totally rocked the whole DLC by plowing through enemies. He, Merrill, and Isabella had some pretty dang funny dialogues throughout.

Merrill: We shouldn't tell him...should we?
Isabella: Nope.
Hawke: What are you two on about?
Merill: !!!! You have something on your nose...
Hawke: What? *checks* Huh, how long has that been there?
Isabella: You ruined it Kitten!

Carver: So...you and Merrill huh?
Hawke: Merrill and I...yes.
Merrill: Did I miss something?

Hawke: *sarcastically in dialogue* Always blood. Why do they always want blood? Why not some spit or hair clippings?
Carver: Sometimes you worry me.

I also absolutely loved the Mage Hawke kicking Cory's butt in the final scene of the battle. It was like a huge wizard's duel.

Spoiler for the main quest.

If he actually was a Tevinter Magister who entered the golden city, I will have to reevaluate many of my darkspawn theories as the Dwarven records still have the oldest reported sightings of darkspawn, but we have a very powerful mage/emissary who seems to be honestly surprised to be underground and demands we bow to him as our Magister.

I initially sided with the ghoul commander of the Grey, but sided with Jeneka at the tomb. She tries to use blood magic to bind him, only for him to throw off the spell entirely and defeat her easily, and she runs away with her tail between her legs and we see him talking about Dumat and the Golden City being Black. His knowledge of ancient Tevinter makes me honestly doubt he was born a darkspawn and his ability to call out to those with darkspawn corruption while in stasis makes me positive he's related to the darkspawn...or at least the Old Gods.

In game evidence points to him being one of the Magisters who invaded the Golden City. Makes me wonder why the dwarves first scouted darkspawn when he was bound there AFTER the First Blight.

the only thing I dislike about the DLC is that after you do all of the quests and complete Legacy, you can't go back at all. I'm glad Bioware put in the little "You can leave to Kirkwall and come back" thing in the quest, but I missed out on the helm because the damn doorway was sealed and I didn't know how to unseal it.

Mr. Epler tackled rather a lot of those, should you be looking to pass those props on directly.
