A good question.ceff7711 wrote...
Is Legacy a separate campaign or does it play off my original DA2? Can I play them spearately?
Just hope it's not like The Witch Hunt, where there's no freedom to travel
Also want to now if trading the loot is possible during Legacy

You go to your mansion and click on a statue it will then let you play the legacy dlc, whilst playing you will get an option earlyish on to go back to kirkwall and then come back to Legacy without it affecting the game.
There are no places to trade or sell in Legacy, you have to either go back to kirkwall where the option comes available early on or complete legacy then go to the shops.

The end fight cinematic was pretty epic for my mage
Glad you liked it!
Those deathblows were an absolute blast to do. Not something I've had much opportunity to do before, and they turned out a lot better than I'd expected.

And when will us PC users get our blades on the baddies neck?

I got most of the storyline spoiled, nothing special, sparks a few questions.
I do have to admit.. It has puzzles, I want puzzles.. but no. 800 bioware points, horrid combat and I can't hear the VO of either Hawke ever again, not worth it for few puzzles (some one up the puzzles into youtube NOW! show the mechanics and let me figure them out, please?)

The last boss encounter was very well done I enjoyed how you had to use tactics to avoid certain things (trying not to give too much away).
However overall as I said before the DLC was OK it wasn't anything amazing however I don't really want to compare it to the expansion that came out for DA1 but I am hoping Bioware release even bigger content to expand the game further with the addition of boss fights (Hopefully a Dragon :-P ) with some nice epic items that you have to work hard to get and then be able to use for most of the additional part of the expansion/dlc.
Also found no issues or bugs that crippled the game it was smooth and very well made.
But I will say this personally speaking I have always loved and enjoyed Bioware games they have never let me down and have again in my opion never made a 'bad/poor' game.
For this reason I have happily pre-ordered Star Wars: The Old Republic collectors edition even though it is a huge amount of £130 >.<
Hopefully with the feedback provided Bioware will continue making great games that have a lasting appeal.
I extremely rarely play games more than once I have only done that with Fable 1, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and DA 1 & 2 :-)
Bioware is one of the best developers around and I truely appreciate the time you take to listen and read our feedback even though many of us including me cannot help but rant and rave sometimes lol.

Does the armor have a helmet/hood? If so, where?
You have to work out the 4 light puzzle, u have to find the four lights, switch them on then return to were you had to,
work out the white light puzzle after the fight with the carta dwarfs, it's right near the end of the game.
it's a pain to work out so good luck! o it's in the room where u can't get through as light covers the door.

$10 for 3 hours of game that's mostly filler combat? When you can get something like BG2 or PS:T for the same price on GOG? Yay paid dlc!
As awesome as those games were and still are, that's not a fair comparison because they were full priced software in their day. However I do agree with you that 10$ for a couple hours of added gameplay is absolutly stupid and for that reason alone I wont be getting Legacy. 10$ would be right for an eight hour expansion and 15$ for a 12-15 hour expansion sounds right. But this trend of WAY overpriced DLC is bull **** in my opinion.

They charge that much now because games cost a hella lot more to produce. Back in the day, you could charge ten bucks for a full game because it didn't require all these resources to make and the janitor was providing the grunting voice overs for the random swordsmen.
Anyhow, I thought it was great. Well worth it. There were actual added convos with our companions. Not just party banter. And there's a lot of replayability. To see all the new companion dialogue and to go through as the different classes. Different sibbling. So, very satisfied.
Although, I did play at level 13-15. And during the final boss, my party was dead by the second wave of it...and Hawke did the rest all by his lonesome. Still. Epic death scene. Nice reactions after the fact. Was incredibly pleased with Anders.
