$10 for 3 hours of game that's mostly filler combat? When you can get something like BG2 or PS:T for the same price on GOG? Yay paid dlc!

As awesome as those games were and still are, that's not a fair comparison because they were full priced software in their day. However I do agree with you that 10$ for a couple hours of added gameplay is absolutly stupid and for that reason alone I wont be getting Legacy. 10$ would be right for an eight hour expansion and 15$ for a 12-15 hour expansion sounds right. But this trend of WAY overpriced DLC is bull **** in my opinion.

^This .  Yessssssss! that is want I have been saying for a long time now. This DLC should have been 5.00 for free.
Every DLC that I have paid for was overpriced. I have expected this from other Gaming companys but not you BioWare.
Shame on you ,you now better .

We were talking about the lore when we did learn the prsion was build 2000 years ago by the Grey Warden. We all know it could not be possible as they didn't exist at this time.

So is the lore broken or respected?Does the story in Legacy give any (more) acceptable explanations about this point?Do the new codex entries refer to this?

I think having exploited/cheated your character to level 50 gives you a very skewed take on the overall quality of the DLC.

There's always one isn't there? *Rolls eyes*

I'll agree with Neofelis.  You're skewed.  Go play WOW or something.

So lets see started playing at around 11:18am finshed playing at 14:14pm and took a 20min break so in total lasted around 2hrs and 40mins...Overall it was ok DLC not impressed by the armour and item choices given that I am a level 50...Weapon seems ok but again nothing epic about this DLC at all.

When will developers truely give us something epic?? I still think the suggestion I made to create either a DLC or new game where it adds quests which are hard to give the satisfaction of accomplishment in the way of a useable powerful item such as sword or staff or armour is better.

If developers are running out of ideas to truely deliver on a game that makes you go WOW! Then please let me pass on some ideas I have a great idea on what to include and how it should be done.

Overall I give this DLC 7/10 I did all side quests and everything I have the achievements to prove it too.

Did you expect something other than what the game had already given you? This game is terrible why would they bother putting effort into it?

ME series is probably bioware's best work but after DA2 I have nothing but fear they're just Haloing it up for ME3.

Yeah, what sort of person plays an RPG for tactical RPG gameplay? As we all know, RPGs are for dialogue trees and poorly written romances!

OK, have installed it, but the item that I'm supposed to find in my house doesn't appear to be there? Can't decide if it's a bug or me being really stupid, as well as half blind!

Make sure that you're online and connected to the DA2 servers, and that your profile that you signed in with is the same that you bought the dlc through.

It always amazes me with people that are quick to attack and hate and for the record I have played WoW as well :-)

I started another playthrough with a character that is a level 22 Mage and I have the best staff in the game called The Final Thought, now with this DLC you would think it would have at least better items? The item Hawkes Key is still not as good as The Final Thought staff...Anyways either way having played both Dragon Age games extensively I think what I have to say should count for something because I am a fan of the series and put it many hours into multiple playthroughs. So before anyone else decides to attack me verbally firstly read what I am saying which isn't full of nonsense and rants and raves but semi detailed feedback in response to the games.

Hmm, Played through it in 3 hours.
+Liked the puzzles.
+Loot Armor looked ****in though.
+ story was about as good as the rest of DA2 (which I believe is good)
+didnt notice much from the new enemy tactics (since Im a hyper-speed berserker char), but I could see they were more organised, good stuff.
-cliffhanger, seriously? SERIOUSLY????!!! up yours, bioware! (alright, admittedly it was a small one, but still...)(also, itll probably depend on your choices... cant speak for all choices yet)
-Loot was meh, i gots my best gear already.
-the 'key' has no rune slot. also, the bonuses added to the weapon arent that big (well, to be honest, Im comparing to epress point, but still :P)

Overall, I daresay Im just slightly dissapointed, I had expected... something more of lair of shadowbroker standard. But its just under that. Still worth the money, and it was very entertaining. Thanks, bioware.

I loved it. It is a vast improvement over the DLC from Origins, and yes, devs really did listen to feedback on DA2. New, beautiful locations, companion input, wardens and darkspawn, puzzles, strategic boss fight, a choice to suit the personality you're playing at, an explanation to the situation in Kirkwall, and most importantly replay value. I went in as a level 25 warrior with Isabela, Fenris and Anders, and there were clearly situations tailored to who is with you, so I will be going back my level 25 mage, with Varric and Bethany. I say well done and thank you for listening.

Can you start the DLC before finishing the main campaign? I started my play through on my characters who had already finished the game and it seemed like if I started a new character and did the DLC before the end of the campaign that there was a little quest before the DLC, Varric mentions something about you being attacked by carta thugs and whatnot. Just curious if there is a little quest to go along with the DLC if your character is still playing through the campaign or if you can even access it before the prologue?
(Sorry for the longish post. Sort of repeated myself a couple of times)

You can start the DLC at any point after you reach Kirkwall.  No there isn't an extra mission.

I'm sure if only you wait 10 years you'll be able to get this DLC for drastically reduced price, too Image IPB

Does every DLC need to come with "Newer Bigger Better Weapons and Items!!!" ?

Stop worrying about the power in your staff, and enjoy the story.

Well I just finished it, I guess I'll give two separate scores.

I used my endgame save and went with Warden Bethany, Varric and Merrill. I thought the story was decent, the loot was meh, the weapon not having a rune slot I didn't understand. I liked the new areas, less waves, and enemies actually spawning from logical locations. I liked the non linear dungeons and the puzzles.

So to the DLC itself I'd give it a 3.8/5. I just haven't been enthused by DA2, so the score for the DLC may have suffered due to that.

But I give a 5/5 to Bioware for listening and trying to make some changes based on fan feedback. The DLC definitely proves they are listening.

Need to go to bed now, but am enjoying the dlc so far - especially the banter. :-)

So I'm guessing Legacy has a more Origins style feel to it? If feedback for Legacy is correct, then I'm guessing Bioware listened to the fans and Dragon Age 3 will be made based on our feedback.

The Hawke Key is an important weapon obviously and looks the part too its a huge shame Bioware didn't bother giving it the stats to match the epicness of the weapon when taking it and weilding it...However I was hoping for it to last longer in the way of a few more quests and side quests but I guess we will have to wait for the next DLC which might be what another 4months?
