People don't usually pay for that. For the sake of accuracy, you should say you feel like a prostitute. :)

Prostitutes usually don't pay for the act, either Posted Image

Maybe "I feel like i paid for a stripper and he turned out really tiny"...

I bow to your superior analogy! :)

It was better then all the DLC in Origins. And it's ten dollars.

It provides enriching lore.
Funny banter.
More levels.
New equipment, although the Key sucks generally.
Three Extensive Sidequests
New Areas
New Monsters
Better Tactical Efforts Strived for
Multiple Endings
A Important Choice at the very least
A show of how well some of the flags work, considering the Banter...

And you can replay it, every single time.

make another one which is bigger and better and maybe comes out sooner than 4months?

They probably had to be in crunch time for the entire four months just to get it out in four months.

So will DAIII be more like Origins or DAII. Is the combat still over the top excessively fast and explosive? Can you initiate a converstation at any point in the game? Can you now change your party's inventory? Do you still have spawning enemy? Is the story a disjointed side-quest or is it metted out seamlessly within the plotline of the main game? Did they change the style of the new armor back to classical or is it still jagged looking?

My only wish was that this was the final act of the game where you learn Corypheus was manipulating Meredith and Orsino into a civil war and you had to kill him with the help of the Grey Wardens (insert Warden Commander cameo). Corypheus is the best villain in DA2 and he's there and gone in a flash, could have been used better, or maybe another of his kind will appear in later DLC ;)

The DLC clearly shows that the developers were listening to some of the criticism.

No waves, differing locations, and even locations that were reused in design made sense ( levels in a tower). The new enemies and the boss fights actually requred some tactical thinking, and the enemies were well placed, and thus used their environment. Even the overall gameworld lore was addressed. The loot is fine for mid levels, and I did find myself substituting out my non-optomized gear for some of the better equipment found in Legacy.

I ran through at level 12, with Bethany joining as a Warden., The banter and dialogue between companions is well written both in the party banter and the ongoing dialogue as the adventure progresses. Bethany not only has a voiced dialogue for her mini backstory, but opponents even recognize her as a Hawke. So there was some special attention paid to detail that was somewhat missing in DA2. Will definitely have to include Anders on my next run...

Overall an ejoyable couple of hours.

Does Merril still look like an anorexic goblin? You know, goat-girl? Or are they keeping the elf design?

Merril is still a cute (waifish) Scottish elf.

Waifish:
Definition:  looking thin and frail, often with ragged clothing; homeless or neglected

Gah.  I'm American ( mutt, but I have an Irish (ish) last name ), and can't tell, really.  Thanks for the correction :)

After finishing this with my rogue, I've changed my opinion on this DLC. It's really quite good. My rogue also romanced Isabela and her comment about her possibly being naked if they attack again and how it'd be awkward literally made me laugh quite loud. Nice touch.

I found this DLC much more satisfying as a rogue, I'll run my mage through it some other time.

Ironically enough, my last name is Irish too - it has bugged me in the past that Merrill is Welsh and the other Dalish are Irish, bu there you go!

Yes, but you'll need a lot of health potions!

Please stop making Americans look bad (worse). Some of us can tell the difference between Welsh and Scottish accents, thank you very much.

Is Legacy on par with the good DA:O DLC? (Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar)

Programmers must be paid a salary.
Artists cost must be paid a fee.
Voice actors must be paid scale.

New DLC requires an investment of a lot of time, and time is money. 'Free' DLC doesn't exist. Someone did the work. Sometimes the development costs for it are factored into the cost of the boxed game ( see release day DLC that came with DA 2, and ME 2, for instance ). Brand new content though? Bioware had to pay to produce it. It does what we *asked* for. New combat, new banter, new environments.

This DLC is certainly a better experience than half the movies that have come out this year, and costs less than seeing one in, say, Manhattan. I think it was worth the wait, and worth the Bioware Points.

Can you really not tell the difference between scottish and welsh? or was it more you're not sure whcih one was which? because there i a massive difference in the way they sound, that would be like me not being able to tell the difference between the newyork or texan accent

Well, if I had two people say something to me, I could almost certainly tell the difference.

But, we have Merril, and she sounded a bit Scottish to me, as I haven't heard a lot of Welsh accents.

I won't apologize for the mistake.

Finish first play through as a level 25 rogue(bow) with Varric, Sebastian and Anders(romanced), hard mode.

Story- Because I have not play DA2 for a while so story felt a bit odd, will try a new play through see if that makes more sense, but I do love the companion dialog and Hawke's dialog.

Final boss fight, took me about 5 tries to take the boss down, I like it, extremely fun.

$10 for 3 hours of gameplay sounds good for me. Keep those DLC coming.

Time to make another new character and try out all the possibilities.
