Is Legacy on par with the good DA:O DLC? (Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar)

Better than all of them put together. Best DA DLC yet.

Oh i always enjoy free dlc's...

...What? i have to pay bucks to have it?

No way after that cancer that was DA2 i'm not incline to spend any money on it..
Try again bioware

Why should they bother with someone who makes light of cancer, spews poison and acts like the word decorum is an anathema to her? Just let it go.

You are missing a bloody brilliant DLC however.

I still have major issues with the game itself. But the DLC showed me that they are listening to fan feedback and trying to address major issues. I thought it was well done. It's the best DA non expansion DLC, I still think LOTSB is Bioware's best DLC to date.

BioWare, BioWare, BioWare...

..as a proud Australian - what the hell were you thinking calling someone / something "Wanka."

I actually had to stop playing because I was laughing so damn hard.

It was definitely a double take moment! If Hawke was able to get whiplash from mouse sweeps, he would be out of action until DA3.

As for crazy moon language...the landscape is closer to Mars I will have you know! :P

Oh, that reminds me! Were there any Great Mouse Detective fans on the design team? Or was Rhatigan just a coincidence?

Probably coincidence, but those writers are sneaky devils. I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of them were Great Mouse Detective fans. that said, Rhatigan is a pretty cool name in and of itself.

I think the most disappointing thing about Legacy is that the main plot of DA2 does not follow the plot of legacy. I think a full version DA2 with the qunari, mages, tempars as the backdrop with the darkspawn full view would have made a much better game. Bioware's just lackluster when it comes to political versus epic as the main draw for the story.

That's good to hear. I've read many of your posts and agree with many points you've made.

DA2 was really mediocre but the series isn't beyond redemption. I guess I'll have to get another copy of the game to try out the DLC. A bit off topic, but is there anywhere you can download saved games so I don't have to go thru so much of the base game?

Ah, didn't know they had a saved game section as well. Thanks, I'll check it out. B)

From what I've gathered, just in poking around the site, that was an urban legend. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Just drop it down to casual and grind through enemies 'till you get to level 7, that's what I did. Took me like an hour to reach that level, then I just went in to Legacy - there was no way in hell I was bothered to play the main game properly.

If you have the PC version and the GFF editor, you won't have to go through any of that at all.

I personally enjoyed DA2, this DLC is one of the best DLC so far I have seen for the DA series. ^_^

My party was Rogue Hawke, Anders, Bethany and Varric. There was plenty talk for my companions inbetween scenes and the loot was of decent quality. Not bad for 800 BW points for over 3 hours of content. :D

The lore made it good. And the new darkspawn where actually a challenge. The ones with the shields annoyed the hell outa me, but I wouldnt have it any other way.

I love varric and sarcastic hawke :)

I'm looking forward to the next DLC, however I hope Bioware has plans to support the game with more quest related DLC in the near future.

Would you care to elaborate on 'quest-related'? I feel like that's a fairly ambigious term.
