We want to hear from you, and so do other Dragon Age II players. If you have purchased and played the new DLC for Dragon Age II Legacy we want your feedback here for other fans to see and read.

Hopefully you enjyed the DLC, but both positive and negative responses are welcome (the negatives help us improve). Please remember that simple comments like "I loved it" or "It sucked" aren't really helpful. If you can add details as to why you loved playing it or why you thought is sucked, those are the details the Dev team and other Dragn Age II players want to hear.

So please post your comments and let us and otehr Dragon Age II players know what you thought of Legacy. :)

I would sure like to be able to download a PC copy! Is there a time slated for it's release or is it a secret?

It isn't a secret. We are working to make it available on PC, but it is a big DLC and takes time to "make go live". We appreciate your patience.

I'm only about 45 minutes in at this point and it's somewhat surreal actually playing what we've seen in numerous preview videos on BioWare TV. I'm enjoying it so far. The vistas are beautiful and I haven't seen anyone jumping out of windows yet so those changes are nice. The only thing I've noticed so far that is kind of a bummer is that some characters tend to dominate the party banter. Poor Merrill hasn't been able to utter a peep yet. Still, based on what I've experienced so far I am very happy with Legacy. The codex entries so far have been intriguing enough to justify the expense. :)

It was alright. There were no re-used areas or enemies popping up out of nowhere so kudos to you for rectifying your mistakes in that. But the DLC... lacked atmosphere and the story was a bit dull. The new characters wern't really that interesting, including corypheus(I think that's how you spell it) and the DLC still lacks what made Origins so great. The great characters and story. This is all my opinion, though, but it's my feedback to you.

I've been playing it for the last six hours on nightmare and feel I'm near the end (just got the 'all side quests' achievement). I'm a pretty slow player obviously (DAO 80 hours, DA2 72), but it has a lot of content and a ton of really difficult fights. Easily the best Dragon Age DLC and certainly longer that LotSB, but perhaps not as tightly plotted.

That said, there is large amount of companion dialogue, both ambient and in cutscenes. For instance I just had a really poignant chat with Carver gaining approval. Anders has referred to our romance twice so far. Varric is super-relevant to the initial plot and a side quest, so I can't imagine doing it without him.

The Warden/Darkspawn lore is building and is really interesting (to me) though with my (stupid!) flatmates now home, I'm gonna have to finish tomorrow so I hope the payoff is as good as the build-up has been.

New areas are similar due to art-style, but striking and combat arenas, types of enemies and encounters are all better than the main game.

So pre-conclusion, I've really loved it... Though the main thing I loved about Arrival and LotSB was that they were playable and made more sense to me after the ME2 endgame. I'm lot keen on inserting new character story into a completed narrative arc. I very much hope that future DLC takes place or at least makes sense as an adventure set after the end of DA2.

Anyhoo. Thanks Bioware. Well worth the money.

is it worth it? OWB just came out and was well worth the money, but BioWare DLC is never usually worth the cash.

Loved it! Though the last battle was ridiculously hard. Well worth the money and definitely better than all Origins DLC, might even go as far as to say it could replace Lair of the Shadow Broker as the standard all other Bioware DLC is compared to.

Wow, just finished it with my x-box char (was too impatient to wait for the pc download ;-) )

It is a good DCL, long with really interesting fights.

I loved how much the companions commented on the situation (Varric especially, of course) and also the new conversations between them (Isabela commenting on Varric's walk... hillarious)

The story was interesting, perhaps not quite as good as LotSB, but on the other hand, the gameplay had a little bit more variety, with a number of puzzles one had to solve.

The end fight was really good. I found it hard, until I figured out the best strategy. I did not get bored with it half way through (as with the Arishok fight...), but it kept me on my toes.

So, I really enjoyed it. Thumbs up, Bioware.

One thing, though... I found the new Genlock design really quite amusing, but I think, the keepers of the holy lore continuity flame will tar and feather you for this... ;-)

Here's a question:

Which are the best companions to bring? And am I correct in assuming that your Grey Warden sibling can actually join you?

definitely the sibling. Then next I would say Varric. I also brought Anders who had a reasonable amount to say but not as much as the other two.

Varric is good to bring. A lot of Coterie stuff, he can comment on and also there is a side quest he has some connection to. I am not sure about the Gray Warden sibling, but I was able to bring Bethany, who is in the circle in my game.

Yes you can bring your sibling as long as they are alive.

As to who to bring along, its really up to you since they added alot of new banter/dialogue for everybody.  I did my run through with Isabella, Aveline, and Varric.  As usual the banter with Isabella and Aveline was classic (They have a great game of I Spy, I'll just leave it at that).
