Very good points for me, knowing that the DLC couldn't really change DA2.

Actually, I enjoyed playing with my aggressive hawk.

Environments are worked and we feel much less follow a corridor.
Great and deadly battles. I had to die at least 8 times. Lol. :P

I loved the challenge in this area, and lots of surprises. There are NO more enemies that jump suddenly from the sky, and thank you for that. I appreciate the effort that has been done here. The variety of enemies is also really fun. Besides, they are aggressive and organized. KUDOS !

Interactions between the characters were very present, it was alive, intense and epic. We even hear the enemy shouting as we walk.

The dialogues for the aggressive hawk were good.

An interesting story, epic. To see the dwarves' spies run, amused me.

In short, surprised about that. I thought that the personal story of Hawk would be boring. ( I don't like personal stories for dlc )  But it implies more than we think.

Also, Nice surprise for the armor of the Warden. I was not expecting it, I always wanted and now it is mine. :D

good points for me :

+ New areas

+ Corpheus design.

+ Party banter

+ interesting story.

+ a ****ing good fight

+ Wide range of enemies.

The least. Yes, some things bother me.

-  The darkspawn are better, but the color is still too light. Too much like the Lord of the Rings in my opinion. Darken it. Take example on DAO or DAA.

-  My biggest black point ( bad, very bad ) is once again that the companions have nothing received. No armor. I do not know what Bioware has against other characters. They can not only love Hawk change his clothes, that's impossible. We should seriously think about changing opinion on it. This accessibility is loved, asked by the players.

-  I would have liked to see more story, but that's a minor detail, in a Dlc, it's often the case.  I always want more.

-  I find it unfortunate that the graphics are the style of the cartoon. The caves and the castle, other dark environments would have been much more impressive. But this is not the fault of the DLC, but DA2 who chose this version.

Conclusion : This DLC is the best of all ( in DAO ), clearly. There are also some approaches that show that Bioware has listened to the fans. Needs to return to realistic graphics now.

Those who haven't found DA2 that bad should be satisfied.

Hmm....

I wonder what the chances are of Bioware having their own employees using their accounts on the forums today to give Legacy positive reviews? You know, like they did on metacritic.

Seems like quite a few people who I've never seen post coming out of the woodwork.

Two words that Bioware like to throw around inappropriately: confirmation bias.

The vast majority of people that will buy DLC for a game are people that actually liked the game. Therefor there's going be a larger number of positive reviews because the reviewers liked the original game.

Bioware will then spin that to mean "Hey, look, we listened and everyone loved it!" yada yada.

And if by some chance they Laidlawed it so utterly that not even the fans of DA2 like it then Gaider will just blame it on 2chan and let everyone know that they're idiots for not liking it.

I felt it is extremely good value of money considering I have only just completed it and it took me nearly 4 hours to complete.

However I do feel it is the usual DA2 business with being just tapping constantly which i do understand that is what DA2 is all about. but I hoped for more proper dialogue scenes.

I do feel the character interaction with the characters talking is spot on I went with Bethany, Isabela and Varric and i am happy to say the characters talk a lot even Isabela mentioned the love relationship and how Hawke always gets changed when in his mansion. (Thumbs up on that one lol)

Varric was a laugh and Bethany was well... Bethany but the brother/sister is a must and so is Varric.

The last gap I would say 1st time round take your LI if you have one you get the most banter possible then.

Overall I would say the bets value for money DLC but not my favourite.

Liar of the shadow broker was better in my mind but this is much more gameplay for your money than the ME DLC content.

I have finished it, and was more then sarisfied.

Any DLC that brings the cast back for some more voice acting always wins approval points from me. I cannot overstate how much it adds to any dlc to have companion banter and interjections. But, i do have to agree with the poster that said

The only thing I've noticed so far that is kind of a bummer is that some characters tend to dominate the party banter. Poor Merrill hasn't been able to utter a peep yet.

I really hate the design of the new 2H sword key thing. It's so damn ugly. But i absoloutely love the design of the helm you find as a warrior, so i guess they balance each other out.

The additions to DA lore were great, and the identity of the end boss made it that much more meaningful.

The final fight was the best i can remember in DA:2 and possibly DA:O as well. I love that you guys did more then give the boss a lot of health and call it a day, actualy having to dodge and maneuver was a really nice change.

I played through on Nightmare with a female mage Hawke, Grey Warden Carver, Varric and Anders. Was pretty damn good. The combat was fun, the story was good, and the final boss was pretty exciting.

Clocked in at just over 3 hours, after getting all of the achievements. Worth it.

The Sebastian DLC was (is) free for those who own the Signature Edition, all other DLC(s) we have to pay for....they do cost money to make...

So far, it looks like I'm getting this, too, at least from the feedback gathered here. My 8 year old pc, however, is in the repair shop now, so it'll have to wait a bit...

I liked the final battle. Really required you to strategize your efforts more and it makes you change up your attack methods throughout the fight to keep up with the changing characteristics of the final boss.

I actually had to reload the battle because my strategies were still rigid from all the other fights previosu to that point where I could simply just run in and blast away. Here I had to exert more control over my companions and keep moving to take full advantage of the battlefield.

overall id give it 5/5. really enjoyed the story, banter, and no random enemies flying out of the sky. occasionally they would come out of doors but at least it makes sense.

only real complaint is that the last boss fight is kinda hard. the boss itself isnt that hard but the fact that the AI for teammates kinda sucks.

Loved this DLC. It took two hours to download (I have slow DSL) and about 5 hours to complete with a post-campaign save. Used my purple gem/jokey rogue Vivian Hawke and took Bethany, Anders (my LI) and Varric with me.

Great party banters all over the place, and the lore was awesome. Since this is in the spoiler-free forum, can't squee about the final boss the way I want to ... but I am curious about whether or not the revelations in this could impact the core game should it be done in the middle of the story. Speaking of final boss battle, it was HARD and I was on casual LOL

Hated how my daggers from the Rogue pack and this Hawke's Key dagger look like freaking cleavers instead of daggers, but the armor you pick up is very nice.

Can't wait to try this again with a different class Hawke and different party members. XD

My god, my Hawk had to finish the fight alone, my squaddies sucked and died all. Half an hour to finish it, while his health was already greatly affected xD

I'm not all the way through it but I'm really enjoying it so far. It has a cool/creepy feel to it. My one gripe is the loot is kind of lame so far. Nothing I've picked up has been worth replacing the stuff I have from the main game and weapon/armor DLC. Hopefully the drops get a lot better but I'm really enjoying the story at least.
